Looks Bioshock and smells like Bioshock... it definitely scratched that itch. This doesn't have the same depth or ambitions, and that's okay. There are no immersive-sim elements slowing you down. There is little strategizing in the encounters, instead the gameplay is more akin to a boomer shooter. The creepy clowny vibe will have you laughing one moment and checking corners erratically the next. The overall aesthetic is well done and does not get old. Still, the game doesn't overstay it's welcome, and you know there's a great plot twist at the end...

A cool game that really hits its stride once you unlock most of the arsenal of weapons available during the short and sweet experience. Not to mention pretty good voice acting and a rather charming love story that makes Twisted Tower a worthwhile experience.
:)
This was a fun game, with some twisted moments. The adventure it's self is not very long. It reminded me of Bioshock a bit. Linear gameplay levels, move forward, complete room, move to next room. There is minor backtracking mostly to the main room. The game does a really good job at making it easy to know where you need to go next if you are paying attention. There is a full range of weapons from pistol, to sniper to mallet, just not in the forms you expect them to be. They work as expected and fire as such. I found myself running low on ammo at some points of the game, but the mallet is your best friend. The Story. You are a young man who is out to save his girlfriend. She was taken by a mad movie maker who is also out to make his brand new film. You find out more about the story all the way up to the very end of the game which when you get to the end, will understand the reason this game is well twisted. Overall gameplay I give it a good 3.7/5 stars. For $13 it's not to bad for the price, although you could probably wait to get it on sale. There is a alternate path route mode for the game with probably more difficult challenges or routes. I have not don't that yet, I don't plan on doing it any time soon. If I do, i'll update this review.
