Behind the cartoonish appearance and simplified UI is a really complicated methodical system. I had a lot of fun with this one. In the settings you can play however the hell you want. If you're just dipping your toes into city builder or 4X grand strategy games this would be a good place to start. Not overwhelming and just enough to feel out the genre.
Fun, beautiful and relaxing game. Plus unlike other city builders you do not need to stick to one big monolith megapolis. You can build several small cities that are almost completely independent on a single map
