I also think this game is a great short and sweet experience. I crave games like this : ones that immediately pull you into their world and focus on their strengths. The visuals and sound design make for a solid indie 3D game, especially considering it was made with Godot. The direction is clean and stays consistent all the way through. Sound design plays a big role in setting the mood as well as enhancing the gameplay, and the music brings a strong sense of identity to the game. The systemic approach to game design is also quite impressive. While there are a few minor shortcomings, like a slightly short ending that could have benefited from a bit more gameplay, or some platforming controls that aren't always precise, I personally found them to be minor. The game's strengths far outweigh its weaknesses. This game deserves more love!!
Cool core mehanics with lots of potential, it's just a bit shorter than you'd expect for the price point. Feels like something that would need a full release with more content and a little extra polishing on some minor things. Could use some some more checkpoints expecially during long puzzles, and something to read / listen to during longer
cable car
rides. In some narrow elevated passages it's a bit hard to control because the character tends to climb over every small thing you bumb into.
Short and sweet
Really cool game, satisfying mechanisms, amazing soundtracks and beautiful environment design. And amazing achievements too, almost had a stroke on some of them xD The storyline is decent and nice, just wish it was a bit longer, so we could enjoy the game more. The game is totally worth it if you are into puzzle-themed games (like Portals), do give it a try!
I really enjoyed this game! The puzzles took some lateral thinking but weren't overly difficult. They felt very satisfying once they were figured out. The camera / player controller handled very smoothly and felt great. The graphics and sound design were both great too! Overall, this game was very fun. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys puzzle games and has a spare 1.5 - 2 hours to play it. Nice one Pantopie! Awesome job :D Also as a side note, I've been learning Godot for the last few months and it's lovely to see such an awesome game produced from our plucky little engine :)
Short and sweet! The physics of objects speeding up and slowing down is really well done. The lighting of the scenes is really well done and the music is pretty good. The puzzles are well thought out and none of them stumped me for too long but they weren't too easy either. I beat the game in around 1 hr and a half which is a good time if you want to play something fun without a big commitment
I don't usually leave reviews, but I have to recommend this short, enjoyable game. I got it on sale, but I would gladly pay full price, knowing the quality experience it brings. If this game is a showcase of what this studio/dev is capable of, then I'm very excited to see their future projects.
Trigger of Review
