You know its a good puzzle game when you're stuck and your wife’s boyfriend comes to help you and figures it out within 30 seconds. Click, rotate, frown, click, blink, delight, frown, click, solved. Made my smooth brain grow a wrinkle. I am a genius now. Can use one hand to play and your other hand can help with other things... like eating Doritos. Do you want to sit around casually while your significant other spends time with her boyfriend and you click on the screen for a while? Sh*t, this game is for you then. Settle down, settle in, grab a big ol' bag of doritos and get lost in this bad boi. You won't regret it! This game made me smarter, I am so smart now. Everybody says so. I have the biggest smart, everyone agrees. This absolutely incredible puzzle game is a work of art, as you become an investigator-first unpackaging, and then analyzing mysterious alien artifacts. But it's not so easy! Getting into each crate or tube is just the first step- next you have to figure out how to access the item, then explore its functions to deduce what it is! And you must use deductive reasoning, observation and trying things, and use clues and discovered tools in order to make the artifacts operate and finish the analysis! I really had a hard time putting it down. It was just the right balance of challenging and solvable, plus easy to use game mechanics. I will say I think some of the content is on the easier side in terms of puzzles - I never got stuck on something for more than a minute or two (thankfully my wife’s boyfriend was on hand to help me with those), however that does not detract from the experience. The puzzles were just involved enough that although simple, I still highly enjoyed them. I really loved the concept of having different tools, clearly inspired by the eyepiece from The Room games. I almost wish more was done with them or they played a larger role than what they did. The setting is a great idea, and kept me interested the whole time! It's a great little experience that I highly recommend, and I am looking forward to the sequel! It would be a masterpiece puzzle game, if only I wasn't retarded. 10/10
graphics are ok-ish and sometimes even ugly and the "story" is delivered as text only. the puzzles are simple & easy to solve and while they are connected by the story (if you want to call it even that) they are isolated when it comes to gameplay. it really does feel like a mobile game but at least it's reasonably piced and i didn't encounter any serious problems while playing. however even what little "story" there is goes nowhere since it points at the next game but 5 years later there's no "next game" to be seen. completing the game took 3 1/2 hours without outside help and i'm fine with that. it's good enough for a rainy sunday but you really should check out the the room series of games if you haven't already. they are superior in every aspect! you can read my review of the first the room game here: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Meister_Leuchte/recommended/288160/
Are you the kind that has the basic question "Hmm, i wonder what this button does..." and presses it? This could be your game! A basic knowledge of mechacnis and physics is not wrong for attempting to beat this game, but mine were also in "a previous life" and the game was solvable, so... seems it is not compulsory! It is a nice little short game, where the player has to explore the function of certain alien objects. The story is (although it is rather on the background) well thought through. Even the use of the multitool was rather intuitive, here it helps if one has a basic understanding of geometry (again: not required, I think). The graphics are amazing for this little game and help a lot to solve the game. Yes, can recommend it!
Классная игра с приятной научно-фантастической атмосферой и реально интересными инопланетными механизмами. Хотелось бы и себе такие же устройства на дом, и на Новый год есть бесконечное оливье.
Within the second chapter I encountered two separate bugs that meant restarting the chapter. Really, really poorly done mobile port.
谁想的在机关解密游戏里加竞速?时间限制还这么紧张??
Machinika: Museum is a really cool little puzzle game with a great atmosphere. You basically examine and solve alien machines piece by piece, and it has that satisfying “figuring it out yourself” feeling when everything clicks. The visuals and design are really well done, and the whole game has a calm, mysterious vibe that makes you want to keep going. I honestly barely struggled with the puzzles — and even when I did, I always managed to figure it out pretty quickly without needing to look anything up. It’s not a super long or complex game, but it’s a nice, relaxing experience if you like solving mechanical-style puzzles and slowly uncovering how things work. Simple, clean, and satisfying.
Приятная и лёгкая головоломка на часа два.
还不错的解密甜品,剧情几乎可以说是没有
Puzzles interesantes y divertidos
