I've only had Barrett for five minutes, but if anything happened to them I would kill everybody in this wasteland and then myself.
neat cast of characters & cool story. pretty short but grew attached to the characters in a short time aswell. LOVE BARRETT & DEL SO MUCH!!! artstyle has it's own charm, LOVE IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!
Fostering Apocalypse delivers a brief but really beautiful narrative experience. The art, music, sound design, and character writing all do a great job together of building out the world and its inhabitants and really making you care about them; quality of writing is essential in a narrative focused game like this, and I think the devs did a great job of making everyone feel not only believable, but distinct and genuinely interesting. Everything also serves to make you wonder a bit about what happened in the past, and the broader mystery of the world you live in. Overall, Fostering Apocalypse does what it sets out to do very well, and I think it's an awesome experience that's definitely worth the time and the price!

The game is great! But I really wish it was longer. It could have had a lot more plot and aspects maybe they will add in the future. But otherwise its a $5 good game. What are you waiting for?
Just got one ending and plan to 100% the rest after this posting. This is Incisor Studio's first game, and Fostering Apocalypse is a great footnote to start. This short story of a somewhat intractable visual novel has a sweet charm within a post apocalyptic setting. The characters feel real with their interactions. Even with the choices I made, they felt like it would be something the main character would do. I PRAY FOR THE END TO COME! And what I mean is, I want to see the end of this story. This Fostering Apocalypse may be their tech-demo with a dollar sign but it was worth the price (not arguing about when to buy it). The game successfully made me fall in love with these two characters within less than an hour of gameplay. Unlike the characters, who I made sure they got a full stomach when they were hungry, I am starving for more Fostering Apocalypse... ...and what Incisor Studios can produce next. Let's see what you've got.
This game is short but increadible, especially if you consider that this was your first game. What are you waiting for, its totally worth that price, buy it if you don´t mind the length.
This game is absolutely lovely! I enjoyed the art, Del and Barrett, and the story! I wish the game was longer since it has a lot of untapped potential- would be excited for an update or any continuation of this story. Props to the writing- I grew quickly attached to Barrett and would definitely destroy everything to keep that kiddo safe. Highly recommend!
A cute little visual novel type dealio, which sees lead character Del make their way through the post-apocalypse, accidentally finding themselves in-loco parentis to a demon. There are choices to make, and a character to spec, but the lovely writing, art and music is let down a little by the short length of the game making decisions feel a little meaningless. A message tells you ‘choices and actions matter’ about 15 minutes into the game, and a further quarter of an hour later, the credits are rolling. Chasing achievements meant that I extended my playtime enough to make the game feel like it had been worth my time, but the core message of nature versus nurture and being a moral arbiter for a littlun' just don’t have enough time to breathe.
