I could enjoy these games. They might be excellent, fun, innovative but none of that matters when they come bundled with pseudo-spyware, shady anti-cheat, or any intrusive software running in the background. I absolutely refuse to install anything that messes with my PC more than necessary. 2K and Gearbox for me are more than dead.
Very fun game but sadly there are ground breaking bugs such as: Lost a few hours of progress (and materials) because of disappearing chest and structures on a private server. Can't connect on our server unless we switched an crossplay on/off setting every time we want to connect. Pathfinding, world map collisions, building system are crappy. Impossible add lights in interior so it's always dark. Sad.
The premises of this game is good, but the actual gameplay is outright horrendous. 100% friend slop type game as well Would not buy ever again Also, I do not recommend Don’t waste your money
Not really worth the hassle to try to make it run. Re-entering a world fails due to a connection error (known for years) and the workaround does not work consistently.

Pretty decent little progression focused sandbox game. Combat is janky and it feels a bit unpolished overall (especially with how unlocks work), but with friends (and a sale) it's definitely a good time for a bit. Saga mode (where you more or less time-rush the main game mechanics) is honestly the more enjoyable mode due to how active it is, and there's actually a lot more to unlock there. This might not be true if you are playing solo, in which case it would probably feel annoying to progress with how it seems to intend on splitting player focus.
The game managed to delete my graphics driver and screwed up quite a few other things when I attempted to start it. Took like 2 hours to get everything back in order again.

JUST WTF, i prefer gooning instead of playing this ass game fr
I've only been playing Tribes of Midgard for a few days, but I've been having a blast, especially with friends. We've only played Saga Mode so far, and it's been a really fun experience. There's always something to do, whether it's gathering resources, exploring, or preparing for the next boss fight. The game definitely has its highs and lows though. 👍 Pros Great co-op experience. This game really shines when you're playing with friends. Boss fights are fun. Exploring the map and finally taking down a boss feels rewarding every time. Generous rewards. The game doesn't hold back with quest rewards, which makes progression feel satisfying instead of grindy. Element system is a nice touch. I like that different weapons and bosses have elemental strengths and weaknesses. It adds a bit more strategy instead of just using the same weapon all game. The progression feels good. Unlocking new gear, classes, and blessings gives you something to work toward each run. 👎 Cons Cross-play can be really inconsistent. I'm in NA and usually play with friends in Asia. Sometimes the connection is surprisingly smooth for everyone, but other times the server feels awful. The rubberbanding gets so bad that dodging attacks becomes almost impossible. It feels like the game randomly puts us on different servers each match. Saga Mode needs more content. Right now there are only five Ancient bosses plus the final boss. My group cleared everything within a few days, so we'd love to see more bosses, events, or endgame objectives added. Random disconnects happen. We've had a few sessions where people kept getting disconnected for no apparent reason. Occasional item bugs. There were times when we'd pick up an item or store it in the War Chest, only for it to disappear completely. Mounts feel underwhelming. The horse is only slightly faster than walking. Compared to mounts in other survival games, it doesn't really feel worth using. A small speed boost would make traveling around the map much more enjoyable. Overall, I'm still really enjoying the game despite the issues. If you have a group of friends to play with, it's definitely worth checking out. I just hope the developers continue adding more Saga content and improve the server stability because the core gameplay is genuinely fun.
