About
Do you want your very own zombie companion? A faithful friend that protects you from its peers and accompanies you on all your adventures? At ParadiZe, we make it happen! Here, the zombies do all the dirty work.

In the beautiful country of ParadiZe, ingenious survivors are testing a technology that can be used to control the zombies that have overrun the world. Once hacked, they become invaluable allies, even though they are not that smart and sometimes rather unstable.
It's not all rosy in ParadiZe, but if you're reasonably clever and handy, maybe you'll manage to survive…
Explore ParadiZe and meet a colourful cast of extraordinary characters. The unusual flora and fauna will surprise you at every turn. Set out on adventure, in the snow or desert, alone or with your Zombot companions, and feel free to get rid of any pests that try to disturb your stay with us.
Fancy an expedition into the wilderness or would you prefer to laze about at your camp? It's your choice, so tailor your stay as you see fit!
However, we recommend not getting too close to the locals: they can be somewhat… aggressive.
Shortly after arriving, you must build your camp, a cosy little nest that you can gradually upgrade. Comfort is important, but don't forget to set up defences! Add multiple traps and fortifications to repel zombies, which have the bad habit of never leaving you alone.
It takes effort to maintain a camp, but if you don't like such menial tasks, don't worry: as we already told you, zombies do all the dirty work here.
You can be a loner during your stay or more sociable.
Invite up to three of your friends so they can enjoy this unforgettable experience with you.
ParadiZe welcomes everyone with open arms!

Bought the supporter edition at 80% discount. I have to say, if you are a fan of the How to Survive franchise, you'll feel at home. That being said, if you're a newcomer, there are a few things to expect. This is a very arcade-like horde shooter with fairly basic combat you can cheese with specific strategies. The gameplay is held together by fetch quests and some story with some lore for the interested. I find this acceptable because the humor of the game is pretty unique, and it makes me giggle. After the collosal unfinished mess that is How to Surivive 2, I was skeptical about this game. And while it isn't the greatest game of all time, as a spiritual How to Survive 3, I think it works rather nicely. It seems to polish all my major complains of the second game. If you haven't played the second game, well, let's just say that there's only one voiced character, the main loop is extremely grindy, and the missions are structure in a way that you have to go to place A to place B to collect items, without anything interesting in between. This game has a better place, all characters so far have voices, you get mini bosses and spawners in between so you still have some stepping stones on your way. And while the zombies are mostly the same, the fact that now they can have equipment of their own adds a whole other layer. Now you really have to stop and think Mmm, what is the best way I can tackle this specific variant? -- which I have never asked previously. So, if there's a negative, I'd say the survival mechanics have been completely removed. I lament this, because many games are "survival-like" in the sense that there is danger and you have to survive it, and not in the sense that you have to stay alive out in the wild; and eat, drink and sleep. These mechanics have been swapped for a very simple temperature system (which is whatever honestly), and the zombie management aspect. I though that sounded like a chose to do, but it turns out it's fairly simple. If you get the right perks, you can get up to 3 fully customizable zombots + 2 more basic ones per zombot -- for a total of 9! That's how many I have right now, dunno if I can get more. I have to emphasize how ridicolous it gets. You can command your zombots to attack one guy and then you see all 9 jump at this single individual and it gets deleted. There are many strategies to try out, there are mines, artillery, flamethrowers, and others I haven't found yet. All in all, it's a pretty fun game albeilt maybe not the most complex one. As I said earlier, if you're a fan of the franchise, do give it a try to see if you like this entry. I understand the negative reviews, and I still think you should go and read them because they have valid points. The one thing I haven't commented about is the price, which I don't find particularly outrageous. On my end, it costs about 19.44 USD at full price, which seems fine to me if you are okay with what you're getting. So far, I have only found one bug where I mounted a zombie and it cliped us and fell into the abyss and died. Do expect bugs from time to time, it is something consistent across the entire franchise, I know this engine and I know how to adapt to its "signature".
Don't listen to the negative reviews. Yes the game is a little janky but overall is really enjoyable, it looks good and progression is also good. Stutters a bit when entering/loading areas but it's for like half a second, no big deal.

Poor performance, hiccups, random crashes and even worse: unfunny, easy and boring
fetch quest the game, not really worth its full price get it on discount or something
Played for 23 hours, enjoyed 3
Probably one of the worst 4th person zombie games I have ever played. Story = a terrible unimaginative mock of Elon Musk, like the man or hate him, this is just lazy to say the least, idea an execution made by someone who thinks knock knock jokes are peak comedy. base building = bland, pointless and simply sad, once again just a terrible design and execution. weapons = not too bad gets a bit boring about midway. TBH the particulars do not get better, the entire game was just bad, design to execution. I have played worse but not many. I really think this game should be removed and forgot about.
