About
Track Star is a high school track & field career simulation. Start as a lowly freshman, build your athlete week by week, and find out if you've got what it takes to win a national title and earn a college scholarship.
Each week you manage your training load, protect your energy, and decide which meets are worth the risk. Push too hard and you're injured. Play it too safe and your rival pulls ahead. There's no perfect playbook, every week presents a choice.
World events shape your seasons too. A heat wave tanks a week of training. A rival school produces a phenom who's suddenly on your radar. The news cycle doesn't stop for your training schedule.
Choose your specialty and shape your career around it. A Sprints build plays completely differently from Distance or Jumps. Your stats, training focus, and event selection all compound across four seasons. By senior year, you'll know exactly what kind of athlete you built.
The championship path is real and it's unforgiving. Make your Class meet. Advance to State. Survive Regionals. Only a few athletes reach Nationals — and only one wins. Fall short and you're running the annual Turkey Trot with everyone else who peaked too early.
Every career has a rival. They show up at your meets, they remember your times, and they're not rooting for you. Whether you chase them down or spend four years in their shadow depends entirely on the athlete you built.
College recruitment isn't guaranteed. By senior year, your performance history either opens doors or closes them. Some athletes walk away with scholarship offers. Some walk away with a good story. A few walk away with both.

Cons: I would expect more from a free mobile game. Gameplay loop takes less than an hour to finish first time around, and can easily be completed much faster after that. Essentially everything is discovered your first run through. The tutorial is lacking, but gameplay is so simple it’s pretty well mastered by the end of the second year. No matter what events you go for the progression is nearly identical leaving little variety, even across different track disciplines. The difficulty settings slightly set your progression back, but really do nothing to actually slow you down or make the game harder. I would maybe play this as a free mobile game if I was mid root canal and this was the only thing to distract from being in extreme agony. Pros: Simple to learn, difficulty so easy your grandparents could be guided through it. Can finish a career in less than an hour. Maybe would be fun for someone who is really into min-maxing a quick game.
I think this is actually a solid game for what it is. I would love to see a future update related to College, Olympics, etc... I think that could be interesting. I think this is a game that used Claude well and doesn't feel like Claude's game, but the creators. I think there is room for improvement in some certain mechanics related to training, but I am impressed and this is going to be my go to game, to play while doing work.
Not a bad game, but it should be free at this stage.
This is an awesome High School track and field simulator. There's plenty of room to build a narrative around your athlete as well as a solid gameplay loop. Obviously this probably isn't the kind of game you'd buy and spend 100+ hours on, but it's an excellent base and there are plans for further development. There also is some nuance to athlete progression especially on hard mode. There's multiple ways to reach competitive marks, and success isn't guaranteed which makes it worth playing for longer than the initial buzz. I totally would recommend it for 10 bucks.
The game is fine. Not good. Not bad. Just, fine. It certainly is not worth the price in it's present state. It's also clearly made with AI, which isn't bad inherently, but we could have at least generated some character profiles, coaches, rivals, etc. Make a few cinematics for race placement, successes, failures with grok imagine or something on the cheap. Doing some of those would make the game more engaging. Maybe create a bit of a slice of life narrative balancing your training efforts with school, family, friends. It suffers from the fact that there isn't much to the game, but there is a foundation. Hopefully they really build it out, but I can't recommend it in it's present state.
Best Track game I've played. Newly realesed and still need some tweeks with correct names and things like that (saying you ran the shot put) but very good game.
Super fun! Ultimate time killer
I played the demo for around 10 hours. This has more content so I'm scared for how long I'll play the full game. It's a great game and the dev is very active in his community. Do yourself a favor and buy this game. Infinity/10 (wish i could go further than infinity) Shout out to Goose Hollow Games for making an insane game!!!!!!
In my opinion this an amazing simulation game if you like track and field and simulation. Get the game if you can because this has really captivated my interest.
Its not bad to pass the time. It could be improved with more interaction between rivals and of course college and Olympics as well. The rivals felt hollow they just felt like names on a page
