The only limit is your imagination (and how well you master the gardening). If you ever get bored or just want to try something different, you have the option to rake sand to calm your mind. I liked the game, thought it was very basic but well done. Great when you want to kill some time. I understand the simplicity and what the devs were going for, but I wanted more than what was offered. The lack of a tutorial turned me off from the start. I wasn't stoked on how I had to look up online how to add water features. The camera angles are also super awkward to me. I think it has potential, but most cozy games I have played are a bit more intuitive. Either that or I am an idiot, which is entirely possible. It isn't terrible and I am sure some people will love this game, but I would only recommend it with some additional polishing.

Dream Garden is a relaxing game where you can create your garden with lots of differents objects, flora and fauna. The designs are very good and the ambient is peaceful. I recommend it! 💗

I don't know what it is, but this game is just not easy to do anything with. Feels like a lot of work. I guess if that's your thing, go for it. The items start out very tiny so you're forced to resize, and things just aren't user friendly and intuitive enough.

Feels like an unfinished game. Keybindings do not flow well, nor is it natural for games in the genre. Has potential, but there are constraints made by the assets themselves. Fish swim unnaturally in a circle, and other animals only seem to have one animation upon placement. Could benefit from some extra attention and a camera that is capable of seeing through any nearby building so you can get a better viewing angle, like the half-wall view from the Sims to give an example. Limited assets, would benefit from the Workshop function that My Dream Setup used.

给自己玩玩就可以了，推荐新人直接劝退。 为什么这么说呢？因为对于想要满足低等做小模型和四季变革需求的游戏来说，这几十块钱掏的还算值，建筑行业的朋友们遇到这个有福了。但是啊，这个游戏的模型捏，初看惊艳，少得可怜。草图模型做工还行，无功无过，但是建筑，你是什么意思，为什么我不能给顶灯？为什么不能调整光照角度？为什么我不能在封闭建筑内加透明玻璃？以及，花树的模型太粗糙了，几个柳条就大切面给我下来是什么意思？想做个大一点的庭院还得斟酌斟酌模型不够糊弄人，说实话，真的很烦诶。 表扬这个游戏有四季更迭和光影变化系统，以及有同期建筑游戏少见的耙沙玩法，这个真的挺少见的，而且操作起来简单上手，喜欢日式庭院的小伙伴有福了。 但是重点要批评这游戏的ui系统。不知道哪个智障低能儿想出来的，moron的脑子就是不一样，哪家客户告诉你每次调物品大小和摆弄数据的时候画面贼兮兮的用一秒蹦出个动画特效显得很俏皮了，尤其是那恼人的删除系统，删除和移动按键被设置的特别小，调整大小也是一样的毛病，每次沉浸设计的时候没按到还要被迫打出状态去重新检验一遍，几十趟下来真的很影响设计心情，我从一开始心如止水做到后面直接火大，我真想把这个ui设计拉出来砍了。 小几十块钱拿出来的游戏既然带上了大家的期许就要好好做，不要设置这些奇怪的按键设置玩些有的没的。你们这方面的设计令我非常恶心，我没有任何推荐给他人的欲望。建议劣质品塞回去重做，你们重做以后卖更高的价钱都会合情合理。

This seems to be a construction of a mini-garden. I could not find how to create a river. Finding anything and everything is cumbersome.

I loved creating my little zen-scape in this game! The advance detailing that can be done is amazing. From item rescaling, to swapping its color, changing terrain and textures, plus choosing the season and time of day for your garden! While the controls did not feel very intuitive at first, I kept pressing escape rather than pressing and holding the spacebar to change the tools. Items I'd love to see added: - More seating options like Zabuton floor cushions - More stair options - Koinobori decor - A water spout for onsens - Tatami mats - Shoji wall screens - Bonsai trees - Lucky cat (Maneki Neko) - Daruma Dolls - Furin wind chimes

It’s easy to settle into and unwind with, without asking much of you mentally. ✔️ Plays well - Movement and interaction feel smooth, which matters a lot in a game meant to be calming. ✔️ A lot of options - There’s plenty to mess with when it comes to customization, layouts, and environmental choices, which helps keep it from feeling too limited. Cons ❌ The UI isn’t great - It works, but it’s not especially intuitive, and it sometimes gets in the way more than it should. ❌ Could really use water elements - It feels like a missed opportunity. Adding water would’ve added another layer of calm and creativity. ❌ Weather system needed more flexibility - The weather and precipitation are nice, but I really wanted the ability to mix and match elements instead of being locked into presets. Conclusion This felt like a nice place to spend time. I didn’t come away blown away, but I also didn’t feel frustrated or bored, which honestly feels like a win for this kind of game. It’s the sort of thing I’d boot up when I just want to decompress and fiddle with something low-stakes. With a few more features and some UI cleanup, it could easily become something I come back to more often. Score 7/10 Growing Dreams — A calm, cozy space that could use a little more to fully bloom.

I absolutely adore how Dream Garden lets me craft my own tiny zen retreats. The ability to shape hills, dig ponds, and arrange every little stone or plant gives me a real sense of calm control. The rake tool for sand patterns is especially relaxing — it feels like digital meditation.
