Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Break free of the grid in Town to City: a cozy city builder that invites you to create a beautiful and bustling community.
Freely place houses, shops, and amenities and natural elements to delight your residents and encourage new families to move in. As your population grows, so can your ambitions: create multiple towns that can grow alone or thrive together, helping the whole region develop and prosper.
In story or sandbox mode, you're free to build at your own pace, placing each flower bed with pixel precision, or prioritise growing your economy and developing your town into a thriving city.
Truly grid-less building sets you free to lay out your town however you like. Plan out carefully ordered rows of houses and city districts, or grow outwards organically with residences, amenities, parks and plazas connected by winding streets and alleys. Freely shape the land beneath your feet with terraforming tools for elevation, water, and terrain.
Beautify your settlement to your heart's content with a plethora of customisation options. Set up lighting, plant flowers and wooded parks, and decorate houses and buildings to complement or contrast. With gorgeous voxel graphics as a base and plenty of tools for fine-tuning, it's easy to create something beautiful that you'll want to capture with the in-game photo mode or stroll through in first-person view.
As your town flourishes, you’ll need to meet the needs of your growing population. Provide amenities that will cater for everyone – from workers to artisans and the bourgeoisie – alongside specific requests by individual residents. Get to know each person as they arrive in town, and watch them settle down to form new families in the homes you built for them with pets and livestock by their side.
Assign workers to jobs, research new buildings and decorations, and boost your sleepy settlement into a bustling centre of commerce. As you expand beyond the bounds of your first town, you'll pursue new developments in farming and tourism by building new towns, all connected by trade and travel routes.

Reviews
A nice, quaint city builder with multiple great maps, and a nice campaign for 3 of them. 100%'d in 15 hours and enjoyed all of it.
UPDATE : With the latest performance improvements, the issue I'm describing below disappeared ! Super happy to turn this review around as promised, great job ! I have enjoyed the game a lot, the vibes are great, I like the voxel art direction, the music is perfect. But the end game is a performance disaster. 30h in, when my cities approach the 1000 citizens mark, the game slowly becomes unplayable because clicking on any building grinds the whole thing to a halt, UI becomes entirely unresponsive. It gets worse the longer you play, smells like memleaks. Rebooting the game every hour or so temporarily fixes it but c'mon. I have the recommended specs, in fact I played the whole time on medium and the rendering is fine, I can fly around my city all nice and smooth. As long as I don't try to actually play the game by clicking on anything. Putting the settings on low makes the game look like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but the issue persists. There's also a bunch of end-game bugs where your high-tier residents don't get counted towards unlocking prerequisites for no apparent reason, ghost unlock notifications when you actually haven't unlocked anything. Looks like the end game has been poorly tested at best. I'm going to wait for a couple patches and see if it gets better, I'll gladly turn this recommendation around because I otherwise enjoyed the game as long as I could play it !

Mega Spiel! Macht echt Spaß und ist total easy :)
I'm addicted
I started with the demo, and within a very short amount of time, I was HOOKED! I now have the full game, and I'm so glad I made the jump. I do like management games, in general, but Town To City, for me, is different. First and foremost, it doesn't stress me out like some other management games do. It has a much more laidback, cozy, and relaxing feel to it. I also LOVE all the small and adorable little touches. Like how you discover that if you hover your patch of flowers decoration over the lake, it turns into lily pads! Adorable! There are so many cute and tiny touches to make your buildings (and towns) into your own! There are many other things I love about the game, but don't want my review to go on forever, so I'll stop there. This is such a fun, adorable, and comforting game, I don't feel like you can go wrong! Especially with a Demo available to try!
yes
This is a very quaint little game that doesn't pressure you too much with keeping on top of things. Very easy slice-of-life city builder. You can get a lot done in short amounts of time, making it very well paced. Absolutely worth a try.
