Should be called Katamari Warmacacy, for all the strategic depth and lack of real choices, outside obvious don't attack the bigger thing until your ready, some early game basic unit strategy. This game lacks any real strategy elements that you would expect in a war simulator. As much as I want to like it, late game is just an utter slog of playing touch ass with the computer, even if i'm the strongest or richest faction i'm just sending generals into a meat grinder cycling around the map while my territories are being captured back and forth, even as slanesh with diplomatic buffs, a few allies who do virtually nothing to help either on the map or in battle (seriously my ally came to help my seige defense and jsut waited outside my walls until i died), sure they eventually scaled the walls with ladders but they are my ally, use the damned doors. While I do like some of the race variety and different unit powers, this games one saving grace is the battle maps are still quite fun if perhaps you have a real life friend who also has a computer and plays with you. This game just makes me feel exausted, the game won't end, there is no attrition, no consequences for your actions, where is the 'total war' strategy? I do like the in game battle strategy, but macro, is ♥♥♥♥.
fun, more playable and different stuff to do than rome 2
