Great game
Moja pierwsza styczność z grami z serii Total War. Bardzo przyjemna rozgrywka: szczególnie połączenie turowej strategii na mapie kampanii z dynamiczną strategią podczas bitew.
it good
its a total war game if thats your thing give it a shot
This is the first and only experience i have ever had in the Warhammer universe. I never played Warhammer 1 or 2, I dont know anything about 40k, etc. My RTS experience thus far is Command and Conquer Generals and Age of Empires II DE. Id had my eye on this for awhile, mainly just noticing that it kept popping up more frequently in my youtube shorts feeds, so I must have spent more time watching/rewatching clips from this series a good deal. Finally stumbled across a Zerkovich video, which, paired with a massive sale at the time, lead to me buying the game. I'm around 200 hours (i think.....?) in game and have formulated a pretty stable opinioin. First, there is a HUGE LEARNING curve to the game. EVERY FACTION has it's own mechanics, and there's never more than 3-4 factions that play the same. Namely, many factions have a form of "second" currency, aside from the same generic primary currency that all factions share. For example, you obtain gold from sacking an enemy, things like that. But many factions have a second currency; depending on what faction you are this currency may be Food, it may be Souls, It may be Favor, it may be Skulls, or Labor, or Slaves. Initially, it's overwhelming becuase you think "crap, now i have to memorize THIS new mechanic" but when you take a step back and instead of reading "Souls" or "Labor", just think of it as "alternative currency". This simple thing (to me) helped to organize my thoughts much easier. Instead of thinking "okay now what do i have to do with this "favor of slaannesh" mechanic" when in truck all I had to think of it was is "oh, its just an alternative currency this faction uses, no different from the skaven with food, chaos dwarves with labor, etc). The game recommends playing as specific factions right off the bat, The Empire, High Elves, etc. This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, ignore their recommendations. After trying and failing Immortal Empires on easy mode playing as over half a dozen factions, including all the recommended ones, I finally beat my first playthrough as Lizardmen (Grok-Gar) before than moving to one of the undead egyption pharoah factions. That one was easy enough i bumped difficulty up to normal, tried as skaven and got crushed within 30 rounds on about 4 attempts. Finally switched to dwarves and dominated, before branching out from there, and now i am able to MOSTLY consistantly achieve short victory with any faction on normal, and about half i can get to long victory. Things I like: Ability to not only control overall map expansion, but also control units in individual battles. Tons of interesting units. Tons of unique lords and heros. Massive map. Things I hate: WAY the hell too many confusing mechanics. I shouldnt have to run ChatGPT on my second screen while playing as a new faction, becuase the game does a terrible job of explaining many of the mechanics and you'll lose many times by trying to figure them out for yourself. I wish they made more factions that played the same as each other. If you have a specific playstyle that you choose (for me, i'm a slow-expansion, defense and economy first, "turtle" playstyle). This basically locks me out of playing 3/4 of the available lords (at least using this playstyle) as many of them can ONLY succeed with aggressive, overwhelming domination of the map. Some factions dont even have the option to build bases, you literally are just a lone Lord, wandering the map with no place to call home, attacking enemies as you see fit and acting as a mobile base yourself. I hate the fact that so many factions are also locked behind the first 2 warhammer games, requiring you to buy those just to play as certain lords. Overall though, its an incredibly fun game that I return to frequently. Every few months i get the urge to play it, come back and log 25-50 hours before getting my fill, leaving for a few months, returning again for another 50 hours, rinse/repeat. IF YOU BUY THIS GAME YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO CHECK THE STORE PAGE FOR THE DLC CONTENT. THERE IS A TON OF FREE-DLC PACKS THAT ARE A MUST-HAVE!!!!!!!
