Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.71/day in the week to Sep 2 → 4.29/day in the week after.

Total War: Napoleon A smaller campaign compared to other Total War titles, but one of the most polished. Battles feel impactful, artillery is incredibly satisfying, and every decision matters because movement and positioning are more limited. The shorter campaign actually keeps the pacing engaging instead of dragging on. If you enjoy the gunpowder era, this is still one of the best Total War experiences.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.14/day in the week to Aug 16 → 6.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Jesus loves you
The game have all the pros of Empire TW but never perfect them, and the cons of ETW and RTW, but never resolve them while laying the foundations for another bad successor, R2TW. Oddly, the finished version of Napoleon Total War is Shogun 2 Fall of the Samurai. If this game was polished a bit more in Medieval Total War 2's direction, it would have been a great game. I was wishing for this game when it's first came out(yes, a loooooooooong time ago), but never got a chance to play it until I have the Total War bundles. Even then, I keep forgetting about Napoleon while playing the other TW. Now, when I have time to experience my teen-hood game-of-wish, it's quite disappointing. Honestly, I like the game, but can not tolerate its flaws, as a TW fan. The musket line-fire mechanic is very bad, worse than Shogun 2 and Empire TW; which is unacceptable for a pre-modern strategy game. American Conquest did it flawlessly as a RTS game for Windows Xp a decade before while NTW AI keeps surrendering or melee-ing after one or 2 rounds of volleys. With mods, I still avoid Battle Mode and use Auto Resolve to avoid the game's combat. I enjoy this game economy system, somehow.
Seems empty. The grand campaign doesn't allow you to play many factions. Seems like it tries to force you to play as the French which is kind of boring and lame. Just play the original.
My losses are substantial, my equals are none.
