.
fav game of all time other than empire, better ships on napoleon. 10/10.
Although the game does have some issues (for instance, strange sounds can sometimes play on the campaign map, the map can sometimes go dark, and so forth) i still find it rather fun. beating your opponents on land requires careful thinking and maneuvering, while at sea everything is mostly dependent on having the biggest ships and biggest guns. quite a few campaigns available aswell (italy, egypt, europe, spain, coalition nations). one of my critiques for this game, which i suppose is the case for all Total War games, is the fact that you can only play as major powers. this can be rectified with mods, but since the game has no workshop, you sorta have to gamble on the web and find them yourself, which is rather annoying. overall, i'd give this game a 8.5/10
larping has never been so good before

One of my favorite Total War games personally, I've not played many Total War games but I just really like Total War: Napoleon's gameplay that really puts a tactician to the test. All types of troop have a role in the battlefield, and lacking one more than the others can give you a major disadvantage which has a really interesting battle dynamic: Infantry is the core of your frontline, they are your backbone in the fight, its almost impossible to fight properly without them. Skirmishers are useful to harrass and pick off the enemy lines, light infantry stick with the main infantry to maximize firepower and efficiency. Cavalry play as the spearhead of your attacks, allowing for destruction of the enemy line, mounted cavalry can harrass the enemy with high mobility while firing like a normal infantry man, allowing for hit and run engagements, lancers allow for pure destruction when charging into anything, dragoons play the middle ground role, being good in both the attack and defense. Artillery plays as the backbone of any attack and defense, artillery weakens and can even destroy whole units if time allows it, artillery brings pressure to the enemy by endlessly picking off enemy units, forcing them to either move their attack quickly or, adapt their defense. Overall, its fun cause you have to play your cards carefully and the reward for doing so is great.
CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGE!
Игра говна. Флот не какой боты очень глупые а на сложной сложности боты и игра становится не честно лучше.
