"CA could rule the world. Medieval II did...."
best of the total war franchise
I great deal of fun to play especially if you are a fan of the medieval time period,
Amazing game
peak
I changed my mind multiple times but I guess I switch to positive feedback reluctantly. The major issue of this game is broken soldier movements. It has the same laggy orders of rome 1 but with numerous glitches. Rome 1 was better than this. Sometimes soldiers don't run when you order them to run and sometimes half of the soldiers in a unit don't run. It's a mess! You order your unit to attack and only one soldier runs to enemy the rest just watch with a distance! Routing soldiers are sometimes too late to change path and they just bump to massive enemy army and die! Even AI can't move its own soldiers properly. When you order archers to move, most of the time they completely ignore because they are shooting, not even completing the order after finished shooting There are some improvements to rome total war but there are more glitches such as gates not closing even when there is no allied soldier around it. Also soldiers can magically run 3x faster when they get close to enemy to the point that foot soldiers can easily outrun cavalry just because they are charging.
peak middle ages
dull and somewhat boring campaign, worse than the original rome total war. Battles are good apart from units doing random things in the middle of battles.
