The best Total War of the franchise, by far! It's so historical accurate and realistic, that if your soldiers drop a siege scaling ladder from the wall, the soldiers who are beneath will die once it drops over their heads. Also, you get population numbers (not like Rome 2 and Attila...). Black death, fire weapons, horde armies (mongols and Timurids). Commerce routes, where you can see the wagons and ships, and you see them more if you increase the wealth of your cities. You can extermine populations. You can build and upgrade castles until making them with 3 walls (external wall, mid and inner wall). If you upgrade your units in armory, in the battlefield you can see the upgrade unlike other games of the franchise. The AI it's actually smarter than in Empire Total War and others, they are often willing to make the peace. And many more stuff...
One of the Last of the Great Total Wars, this and Empire(&nap) are the best instaments of this franchise. After the Rome 2 era, it was all down hill of Corperate greed.
a classic game, time to crusade against Eqypt.
some buzz n aww that
