This Total War added very interesting things compared to Rome 1, even though I still prefer Rome 1 as it was my first Total War and I am more comfortable with it. Medieval 2 is more beautiful in general, especially the animations, with kill sync animations and sync fighting animation that make any fight much more beautiful and realistic than in Rome 1. There are interesting elements of gameplay which are not present in Rome 1 and are perhaps more interesting: crusades, the pope, etc I think the senate in Rome 1 was too specific to the Romans only and was quickly annoying. In comparison, Medieval 2 is freer, letting you decide to respect or not the Pope, and this allows for more replay value. This also give a more interesting diplomatic landscape, with merchants or princesses as new agents. With alliances that are more supple and changing, compared to a Rome 1 where Romans would always end up living the same diplomatic story. Sieges are more interesting with cities being different from castles with even several layer of walls to bypass. The big changes that happen in the world such as the advent of Black Powder, the Crusades, invasions, etc. are really interesting and campaign/world changing.
Cool game, get to play as a nice collection of different factions from Scotland to Egypt.
Yes
Le jeu est excellent, bien qu'il commence a dater et que les graphismes sont vieux le gameplay est digne des total wars donc je recommande vivement d'y jouer ;)

fun
Mass routs are really satisfying, the castle maps look cool, the music is good. It took me twenty minutes to come up with those 3 compliments, every thing else about this game is horrible. Have you ever played Shogun 2 naval battles? Do you like giving orders and then watching your troops start walking around in spirals for no reason because there's a lot of that in this game. EVERYTHING feels janky, even things you wouldn't think is possible to have jank. The controls will stun you, so many things in this game will leave you speechless wondering how they thought it was a good idea. There's a lot of cool things in this game it's too bad I'm too busy yelling at my troops to get to appreciate any of them. I came to this game with great expectations and genuinely tried my best to enjoy it, I hated it and never want to play this game again, I didn't even experience 1/4 of what this game has to offer and you couldn't pay me to experience the rest, worst 5 dollars I've ever spent. Get literally any other total war game that came out after this one instead.
Игра детства! Подсадил на на неё крёстный , он сам любил серию тоталвор.
Не игра, а легенда! Даже спустя 20 лет играется отлично. Музыка, графон, динамика, всё просто супер.
