Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Great RPG and the closest thing to Planescape:Torment you can find
True adventure with a captivating story, memorable characters, and an atmospheric soundtrack. The biggest selling point of Torment: ToN, though, is a truly unique, inimitable science fantasy world the devs managed to create for this game. It's interesting to talk to every character, explore every level, and finish every quest because you never know what you'll witness or find out—there are so many interesting ideas in this game it'll make your head spin. The gameplay loop isn't that extraordinary but still pretty good due to the well-made leveling system with useful stats and skills. You'll constantly use them during journeys, dialogues and battles and find lots of different items you can utilize or sell. But keep in mind that as a true spiritual successor to Planescape, this game focuses on dialogues and storytelling rather than on combat and long travel sequences, so be prepared for A LOT of reading. If you're tired of samey RPGs that don't offer anything new to the player and keep feeding you old concepts like orcs, elves, castles, brave knights, or sci-fi robots and spaceships, Tides of Numenera will become that very breath of fresh air you so desperately need.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Just not captivating enough to play
There’s really nothing in this game that makes me want to return to it. The combat system is bad, the characters are bland, and the story is dull. I couldn’t be bothered to learn more, and I didn’t care to find out who my character is. To top it off, quests can be bugged. For one of these bugs, I found a workaround from two years ago that involves editing source files...
I was shocked. 4m dollar from kickstater and this is what they made... Game itself is not necessary bad, but 4m for this?? Only partially voiced (and bad), no costume character design, not even costume portrait, extreme crude 3d model and questionable 2d art design. Again, of course, none of those are necessary components for a good game. And those are usually the most expensive components, it is reasonable to see individual developers cant afford them. So the question is. How the hell on earth they manage to spend 4m but without any of those expensive components involved? pillars of eternity2 got 4m from kick stater too, and that, is a game reasonable for 4m budget. But this? really? really?
A good book
The lore and world of Numenera are compelling and interesting, but it’s unfortunate that they’re trapped in one of the most bafflingly boring games I’ve ever played. Having to read what feels like a novel every time I interact with a character only hinders the experience. I’d love to see another take on this world, with better dialogue (ideally voice-acted) and more engaging gameplay
DISCLAIMER - I am a hardcore RPG player. Ive played all the Baldur's Gate games, Icewind tales, Neverwinter Nights, Divine Divinity, Pillars of Eternity, Tyranny, Fallout etc etc games. I love RPGs. So, having said that: This was actually a VERY good RPG, with excellent writing! I dont understand why so many negative reviews, but I guess the main reasons were a) fanboyz of the original were butthurt that it wasnt what they wanted b) something about the kickstarter promises not being fulfilled, which, fair enough if you were an early backer I guess. >>> IF you are a hardcore RPG player who cares about STORY more than other stuff, then this is a great game for you. This game is the opposite of Pillars of eternity, which had gorgeous visuals and had fun combat, but the story was an idiotic mess, with no memoral plot or characters (Honestly PoE was stupid). On the other hand THIS game has an amazing, quite original story (hard to achieve!), VERY memorable characters (I dont think I'll ever be able to forget Erritis), but lacking in the visuals department and the combat also felt a bit weak. That doesnt mean they were terrible, just not as good as other RPGs you might have played. PROS: - Excellent writing. The story is very scifi, with some concepts and ideas that I honestly havent seen before or see rarely. Genuinely interested in what was going to happen in the end. So many mini stories as well, the kind that will stay with you for long after you finish the game. - Dialogue was excellent, the characters and the companion interactions were also excellent, honestly being some of the funniest and wittiest I have ever seen in RPGs, reminding me a lot of Baldurs Gate 2. - Voice acting (companions) was very nice! CONS: - Some of the visuals of the game arent that amazing. The main menu for example looks like it came straight out of the mid 90s. - The combat felt a bit weak, although that might be in part because you can play the game with almost no combat at all if you wanted. Whats there is good, its just missing that extra kick.
There are some good aspects of this game, and if there was a way to rate a game in the middle, instead of thumbs up or down, I would do that. This game is addictive in some ways, but my overall belief is that this does not supply what I like in isometric dialogue-oriented games. To me, it is more of a Tyranny, and less of a Baldur's Gate 2. That is, it has apparent potential, but apparent potential is about the only thing it has. I think it also is not as interesting as Planescape: Torment. Yes, it is no crime to fall short of the classics, but in today's world there are plenty of games and mods that do all of this better. I could pay for this game, or I could get a better mod for BG2 or NWN for free. After a while, the luster wears off of the activity loop of the game, and then I concluded that the more important quests make no sense. Yes, I did not finish this game, but that was because I was no longer enjoying it. Replayability is possible but relatively low, which is also a damning problem for an isometric game.
i loved the original torment but this one just cant. this is existentialism for the sake of showing off how cleverly depressing the wrters are.
Garbage title. No clue why it gets even 70% approval. Leeched of funds to make sure wasteland 2 didn't fall flat on its face completely, it suffers by having no failure and no point. Faceroll events until you move onward, no skill, no game, no point. I backed it and I regret it completely.
