Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I looked up every word I didn't know. This was a great adventure.
Brilliant for anyone that loves rpg style computer games, where the priority is puzzle solving and exploration.
I'd highly recommend this one! The depth of the story forme is absorbing plus the graphics is still somehow at par with modern games today. When I play this this gives me the old feeling and vibes of classic isometric games which are mainly focused on story. The only drawback is the long text conversations which's I'm kinda feeling lazy and prefers more action and gameplay.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Torment: Tides of Numenera is a spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment. I loved Planescape and it became one of my favorite games. When I heard that there technically existed a second instalment I was hooked; but inXile didn't actually get permission from Wizards of the Coast who owns the Planescape IP to make an official sequel so it's not actually Planescape 2. But it spiritually follows the universe and if you've played Planescape you can easily connect the universes. There's a lot of similarities and references and they succeeded creating a similar vibe to the Planescape setting albeit the sci-fi element. There was A LOT I didn't get to experience in this single playthrough I've completed at the time of writing this review. Entire sections I've missed, multiple endings, characters I never met or fought alongside etc. and with the percentage dice roll mechanic and pool drains it's even more challenging to experience everything (unless you're a petty save scummer... well I'm that too...) but I actually like the system a lot. It creates variations in your playthroughs albeit subtle at times. The combat was great imo. Now, I know that better systems exist out there but I wasn't bothered by the fighting. Tides of Numenera is primarily a story based game just like Planescape and I felt like the combat served its purpose. You're essentially not super strong and need to be smart and efficient with your pools not to drain them too fast. The story was amazing, the exploration felt just like Planescape along with the option trees… and the loading screen art was well made too! But I also have some criticism. Sometimes when interacting with NPC's with dialogue trees or just the NPC’s with single comment boxes you'd walk straight into them, noclipping into them, instead of engaging conversation; this was a frustrating bug that I felt they should have fixed by now. I was also a little frustrated by how easily you could part with a party member by mistake by miss clicking. It can ruin the immersion. There should absolutely be another dialogue box in between to correct a miss click. I don't particularly like the character artwork. Some of them are decent but it doesn't fit the aesthetic of the game in my opinion. I also didn't like when the narrator took over a conversation, the names of the NPC's I was speaking with were regarded as the ones speaking as the narrator. It's a weird way of formatting the dialogue in my opinion. I also wasn't a fan of the merecaster UI; especially when one or more of your pools were drained and it abruptly cut the light effect of the pools. When I'm used to pause the game by hitting space it often frustrated me that in combat the space button was mapped to skip character rounds by default. Whether you disable or enable v-sync if you're having a long conversation with someone at some point the dialogue box starts to slow down and becomes unbearably slow; it's way worse with v-sync disabled but that was frustrating. Sometimes the single dialogue comments get stuck in the game and the only way to remove them is to find where they're located and click on them again which is tedious. But other than that, it was an amazing game! The 95 hours I took to complete the first playthrough was well worth the hype. Since I bought the Immortal Edition I also got 5 e-books (among other cool things) which I will be reading so the universe definitely isn’t wrapped up for me yet.
I started playing this because it looked like Disco Elysium. It's not as good, but it's definitely in the ballpark as far as style goes. I just got to Act 2 and noticed that only about 26% of players have the achievement associated with that progression, which really calls into question how enjoyable this game can be for a mass audience--if only 1/4 of players have made it as far as I have, maybe it's not that compelling. Still, if you like RPGs that don't rely too heavily on combat mechanics (while still forcing you into combat once in awhile) this may be for you.
There is really nothing in this game that makes me want to get back to it. Dullest gameplay I've encountered. Uninstalling because there are so many better games out there, and time is limited.
