Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Played through all of TRI, sounds like I'm not going to continue after what I've been hearing about the new patch. The outfits are whatever in my mind, but the performance issues can't be looked past.
Without the team that made the original release one of the best remasters available, what's the point? The new update feels out of place, introduces new bugs, and only exists to upsell copies on Switch 2.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Literally no one asked for an update with ugly AI generated outfits and that happens to break the entire game as well. It puts all the love and hard work that's been put in the release of this remaster to shame.
the latest patch added a bunch of clearly AI generated outfits that Aspyr is trying to pass off as made by humans. this patch also breaks the game for a lot of people as an added bonus :)
this was good, but then they put out an update full of AI slop then lie about it being AI slop.
EN - I think the developers simply picked the wrong day to release the latest “update.” It would have been perfect for April 1st, because everything it introduces feels exactly like a giant April Fool’s joke. Before this patch, I would have written an extremely positive review. This remaster of the first Tomb Raider games worked precisely because it respected the original material, and you could clearly see the passion of the people who worked on it — including many fans of the series. Then this update arrived. New outfits that are completely useless and, honestly, ugly: questionable ideas executed even worse, with textures that look like the result of a failed AI experiment and a quality level that sometimes makes the PS1 era look better. The new challenge mode? On paper it could have been interesting. In practice, it’s broken. And the cherry on top: an impressive amount of bugs that, at times, make the game almost unplayable. It’s hard to understand how an update of this quality can be released in 2026, and even harder to understand how it can be associated with the name Tomb Raider. A remaster that deserved to be recommended until yesterday has been ruined by a patch that feels like it was never tested. An embarrassing update and project management that to call superficial is an understatement.
Without the help of people who actually care about the game they are working on, Aspyr shows it's true colors once again. It has always been weird how they excluded Saber Interactive, the actual devs of 1-6 Remastered, from all marketing. Now that Saber is no longer working on it, we get NEW AND EXCITING content from Aspyr or whatever sloppy new dev they hired! The outfits and art look goofy from afar, but if you look closer you will realize that they have absolute horrendous texture quality. The new title and achievement art is either quickly cobbled together in photoshop or made by silly robots with silly hats. The challenge mode is okay: It serves as a level selector at worst and some fun hours of TR gameplay at best. All of these additions could be ignored, but they did not even bother to fix any bugs or patch any features that fans have been asking for years. Aspyr cannot have been blind to the feedback they have gotten this last year, so my only conclusion is that they are incompetent. If they rather spend time and money on an entire new mode but don't even bother changing 1-2 lines of code, then I don't know what to say. Aspyr's incompetence is further supported by new glitches that have been added with this update. Glitches like subtitles not fading away, textures being garbled and music from the main menu persisting during a level (e.g. Croft Manor). I noticed these bugs literal minutes after booting up the game. Has not a single person playtested this? In typical Aspyr fashion, updates to their games either take MANY months or never happen at all. Every old Star Wars game they touched has been a disaster. I dread whatever they are gonna do to Deus Ex at this point...
It was an almost perfect remaster that gave me back the joy of being able to play the classic tomb raider from my childhood! but with the new update it ruined everything!! the game is full of bugs and now they dare to put in AI slop? I am done! My trust is ruined. Dont buy this game. Get the originals elsewhere.
Recent update broke the game completely with so many bugs. What was once a good remaster, Aspyr ruined by AI slop and bugs. Newly introduced "outfits" look terrible, they're blurry and very poor quality. Challenge mode is a good idea that's terribly implemented as well. Next the update breaks things like music, FMVs and even some game mechanics, not only in the challenge mode but also normal game as well. Localization went completely out of window as there's a lot of mistakes in texts. Can't stress enough how much fans were against AI voice lines, and we get low quality AI game breaking content.
