In the middle of each nation's normal training routine, a Joint Military Exercise was enacted. A select few from each nation were chosen to participate in this rigorous event. But, how did this event come to be? Are there other ulterior motives at play?

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

看到拂晓以后我把这两年半没玩的游戏又下回来了
拜托了,碧蓝航线国服搬过来steam吧,国内环境已经永无宁日了
I played Azur Lane back in 2019, and like a lot of people I was excited to see the game being brought to a new dimension. The original game was a mobile gaccha. and like other gacchas relied on waifus and a visual-novel type story to make money. However unlike most gacchas Azur Lane wasn't a turn-based RPG, it was a sicescrolling, wavebased bullet hell shooter. With Crosswave's announcement of being a 3D third-person shooter I was expecting it to focus on fleshing out the gameplay and taking full advantage of its new engine, with a visual-novel type story providing narrative between missions. What we got was a disappointment. Crosswave is a visual novel first and an action game second. Most of your time will be spent reading dialogue and following the shipgirls through the events of a Joint Military Exercise, with only small segments being dedicated to the gameplay. This by itself doesn't necessarily have to be a negative if the writing is good and the story interesting, unfortunately neither is true. One of the game's appeals is the sheer amount of character interactions, however the interactions themselves are often awkwardly written or nonsensical. There is very little character development outside of the two main characters (both of which are strange choices for leading roles considering other characters are far more popular). The villains' motivations, plans and executions don't make much sense. And while there is some political intrigue during small portions of the game, I was expecting more given the source material and possibilities that an alternate WW2 scenario provides. Then there's the gameplay, what originally drew me to the game and would benefit the most from the change of platform. It's a bit of a mixed bag to be honest, and unfortunately I found the flaws outnumber the pros here too. Let's start with the positives: + The character models look great! There are a ton of characters to choose from and they have all been brought to life with a high level of detail. + You have more agency than in the mobile game, being able to aim freely and dodge enemy attacks with a dash move. + There's quite a bit of customization to be had. With a large number of weapons and items combined with the amount of ships, you can make your own fleet based on skills and weaponry or general preference. That's where my praise ends I'm afraid, as for the cons: - There is an over-reliance on stats both from ship levels, weapon and item rarity as well as their respective upgrades. As a result enemies are extremely bullet-spongey early on, and fall apart like paper mache once you've powered up. You need to make a conscious effort to level up, but not level up too much or you'll make the entire game a cakewalk. - All the battles are still wave-based ordeals, generally two waves of easy enemies followed by a boss. The switch to 3D could have brought more varid battle scenarios or larger areas to explore but it does neither. - Support ships are relegated to passive buffs. In the mobile game you'd have a vanguard fleet comprised of destroyers, light- and/or heavy cruisers that you'd control directly and a main fleet made up of battleships, aircraft carriers etc. which would provide support in the form of buffs and by launching artillery fire, sending air-support among other things. Here however your vanguard can hold battleships and aircraft carriers which is neat, but all the support ships merely provide passive buffs and may as well just be items... - Submarines are essentially missing entirely from Crosswave. They never played a huge part in Azur Lane but their absence is still a bit strange. - Far too much grind required for how repetitive the gameplay gets. I don't always hate grind, JRPG is my favourite genre and FFIX my favourite game, but when there is a huge amount of grind needed to max things out and the gameplay never develops past the beginning hours it will become a problem. Crosswave shows everything it has in the first two hours or so and never grows beyond that. So repeating the same missions with the same enemies over and over for 20+ hours did become a chore. In summary: Crosswave isn't a particularly great game, I wouldn't even call it a good game. It has a few merits like the realization of many a waifu brought to life in the third dimension. And the character interactions provide fan-service that some fans of Azur Lane might enjoy. But to me it was mostly a disappointment. It doesn't take full advantage of the shift to 3D and in some aspects even regresses from what the mobile game accomplished. The story is mostly weak and takes up a huge portion of the game's total playtime. And the gameplay that is there suffers from poor balancing, a lack of innovation and its repetitive nature overstays its welcome. Unless you're itching for more Azur Lane and can see past these many flaws, I would pass on this one.
