Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Ghost Recon Future Soldier holds up as a nostalgic blast from 2012, with tight squad tactics, sync shots, and gadget-filled gunplay that still feels satisfying. The optical camo and drone recon deliver those classic Ghost thrills. But man, it shows its age—dated graphics, linear levels, and mechanics that pale next to today's shooters make it more a fond memory than a must-play now.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Aug 7 → 6.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I just don't understand why Ubisoft is forcing us to use their account if they lost all my campaign saves. Thanks Ubisoft
This game still requires the Ubisoft launcher - but that's the only downside. Apart from that I really enjoyed this again after many years. It still plays well; there were only a couple of difficulty spikes and although I didn't care about the story, ordering your squad around and using cool gadgets was fun. It actually has a bit more variety because of these factors than say the average COD campaign. It still runs fine with no mods, even in ultrawide.

It's fine. The story is funny and mildly interesting in a 'this seems illegal' way. The gun customisation is neat but sadly locked behind dumb challenges. It's a very kind of dated shooter from a previous generation and you can definitely see how this lead to the most recent Ghost Recon games like Wildlands and Breakpoint. That said, there are some neat things here, like your AI squadmates largely being competent and calling out targets and stuff. I did find the repetitiveness of the missions to get quite boring after a while. They all largely follow the same pattern of 'start in stealth, go as far as you can without being spotted, either get spotted or the game forcibly puts you into combat, clear the area, repeat until the end of the mission.' And of course there are vehicle and turret sections lol. Most of the squadmates are kind of bland and have no personality, I only really started to distinguish them in the last few missions of the game. Kozak is fine as a main character though. If you are really craving a mildly tactical, sort of bland, stealth-cover-squad-shooter you can get this on sale. You could probably(?) do worse than this. But you could also do way better.
I honestly forgot how good Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier™ was until I reinstalled it recently. This game came out over a decade ago, and yet it still holds up shockingly well — both in terms of gameplay and the overall feel. It's not just another military shooter. It’s smart, stylish, and seriously satisfying once you get into its rhythm. First off, the gameplay is super tight. It strikes a really nice balance between stealth and action. You can’t just run in guns blazing (well, you can, but it probably won’t end well). The game encourages a methodical, tactical approach — marking enemies with your drone, lining up synchronized shots with your squad, and watching everything fall into place like clockwork. That "sync shot" mechanic? Never gets old. There's nothing quite like taking out an entire enemy squad in perfect coordination without ever being seen. And let’s talk about the futuristic tech — optical camouflage, drones, and some really cool weaponry. It’s set in the near future, so it doesn’t go overboard into sci-fi territory, but the tech adds a slick layer to how you approach missions. Using the UAV to scout ahead or the cloaking to sneak into an enemy base feels straight-up badass. The campaign is way better than I remembered, too. It's actually pretty varied — you're not just running through the same dusty warzones the whole time. You get dropped into different parts of the world, with each mission having its own flavor and challenges. Some moments feel straight out of a modern military thriller movie, and the pacing keeps it fresh all the way through. One of the highlights is the Gunsmith system — you can customize literally every part of your weapons, from the stock to the barrel to the trigger. And not just for stats — it actually changes how the gun feels and handles. It’s super intuitive and just really fun to mess around with, especially if you’re into the gun modding aspect of shooters. Now, is it perfect? No — the graphics are obviously a bit dated, and the multiplayer scene is pretty dead unless you have friends to play with. But if you can get a buddy or two for co-op, it becomes a whole different experience. Guerrilla Mode (basically horde mode) is a blast with the right squad, and the main campaign in co-op is chef’s kiss. All in all, Future Soldier is one of those games that aged far better than expected. It didn’t get the attention it deserved when it came out, and honestly, that’s a shame. If you’re tired of twitchy run-and-gun shooters and want something with a bit more depth, strategy, and style, this one’s absolutely worth checking out — or revisiting. Verdict: Criminally underrated. If you're into tactical shooters, this one's still got it. 10 years later and it still hits. 10/10 ! GET GOO GOO ALU!
The game it self is great, personally didn't have problems while running the campaign. Personally wouldn't buy it for full price (14,99, 23.12.24), but otherwise great. Of course the servers are shut down , but i'm not really someone for pvp anyways. If you want to know: the campaign in difficulty veteran (2/4) takes about 16h.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier terminado. 11/10.
