About
Tiny Thor features 16-bit graphics and gameplay centered around using Mjölnir, leading our Norse hero through challenging levels filled with all kinds of obstacles. It offers tight controls, fast-paced action and an experience tinged with nostalgia.
Mjölnir, Tool of the Gods
“It’s your birthday Thor! Now take Mjölnir, the hammer that never misses its target!” —Odin
Everything has been carefully designed around this premise. The hammer can be freely aimed and bounces off surfaces and enemies, enabling all kinds of trick shots.

It features true 16-bit pixel art from Henk Nieborg and an original soundtrack by Chris Hülsbeck. Starting as a relatively simple platformer, Tiny Thor unfolds along the way, as you unlock all kinds of abilities that you dreamed of having back in the day.
Boss Fights Worthy of a Young Deity
The platforming is punctuated with exhilarating boss battles which will test the son of Odin.
Each realm features a set of almighty adversaries who want to stop Thor on his way to becoming a true god. You will need to make use of everything you learned along the way to beat them!

Pretty good and good looking 2d platformer overall! I believe the difficulty was alright without assist mode, and the platforming overall pretty fun, although the challenge levels are a different kind of beast compared to the main game (I have my complains about challenge 7 mushroom wall...) I wish we had the upgrade as soon as starting the game rather than unlocking them through the story but it's not really a problem. The bosses were very fun to do, not too hard, not too easy either, very well balanced. Going through 100% was a little bit annoying at times since you need to find every gems and crystals for it, there is one particular level were 1 single crystal is hidden, I didn't personally like that since I went through the level many time to find it (and in the end couldn't, had to look it up, skill issue) Overall, great game! not perfect for sure, can be frustrating at times, but I didn't have issue completing it, and if you struggle to do it, there is always assist mode to help you which is cool!
As a 2D platformer fan I'm disappointed, it's not bad but it feels very shallow. Compared to DK Country games this is very weak unfortunately because I really like the art style.
Initial impressions are great - lovely graphics, great soundtrack (I think that's what made me discover this game via Facebook), and more importantly, it's just plain-old-fashioned fun, with an appropriate learning curve. GenX'er here, who grew up on Mario etc.
Pros: - It is quite challenging and there's god mode toggle to compensate for the game being challenging - graphics is not bad - LOTS of hidden places to discover which makes me appreciate the 100% gameplay YT guides for each level - interesting game mechanics of ricocheting - LOTS of puzzles to solve. Once again, it makes me appreciate the 100% gameplay YT guides for each level - Able to use abilities obtained on later levels to complete challenge levels on the earlier levels like dash and multi hammer shot abilities. Cons: - do not support playing on secondary monitor maximised/fullscreen Conclusion: Top tier puzzle platforming game. Bzzzt is good, but Tiny Thor is even better imo as there are a lot of things to keep the players engaged like hidden areas, ricocheting and puzzles. God mode is just godsend, and my gaming skills won't let me complete the game without it. Also, being able to use abilities obtained on later levels to complete challenge levels on the earlier levels is also a godsend. Review edited after playing for more than 17 hours, I 100% completed the game.
Excellent Game with Tight controls. If your a fan of games like Celeste for its difficulty you should be at home here.
