Gameplay video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_pkZIQWmdc Pros: - Weapon selection - Can pull of slick moves to get kills - Decent replayability with A and S rankings Cons: - Simple, asset-based graphics - Only about 2 hours or so of gameplay if you just rush through it - Simple enemy AI doesn't pose much of a challenge - Sound design is rough This is definitely closer to a $5 game but you can find enough fun in this game to make the price worth it.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Please note that I received this game for free as part of the Steam Curator Connect program You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/75bTdqViP7U This is a rather mediocre game. It's not bad. However, I think it may be overpriced for what it is. There are 6 levels plus a tutorial. Whole thing took me about 80 minutes to complete. And yes, you are a time travelling Navy Seal ninja warrior. Although something funny must have happened to the flux capacitor because the last level is a stylistic mess. Each level has a theme for a period of time. You time travel to the old west, to a WW2 demolished city, and to the future with robot strippers. Each level has objective targets that you have to terminate before the portal exit will open up. You can optionally also kill everyone else if you so desire. Of course, I killed everyone. You start off with a silencer. You can later upgrade to other weapons including an automatic rifle, a sniper rifle, a sword, etc. You can choose to go full stealth mode and only kill the target. You can climb on anything. There is full locomotion & snap turning, along with jumping. The graphics are subpar. It seemed like a lot of the assets are just those found in the asset store. There's just poor textures all around, along with poor lighting. However, the game ran smoothly. One of the few bugs I experienced was that when I died I would respawn in the prior level instead of the current level (but you can choose to go to main menu and just go back to the current level). There's also some clipping and some pathing issues. Overall, I did enjoy the game somewhat. However, the enemy AI was rather poor and brought down the gameplay. Although using the different weapons does change up the gameplay, I had no desire to do so. Honestly, none of the gameplay mechanics felt great. Rate 5/10. The game is just rather mediocre all around. It's more of a $2.99 at most quality game.
So I bought this game purely on its name and the voice acting I saw in the trailer. I expected a good laugh but instead got hours of entertainment. I played this game with 2 other friends of mine and we had a f***ing blast. So the gameplay is solid. Climbing everything was incredibly fun and allowed for going through any stage however we saw fit. Along with this, the reward system was perfect. For every stage you can A and S rank them, and for each rank you get, a weapon as a reward. This ranking and reward system had us go through every single level and get both ranks. It was SO satisfying. The challenge of having to only kill the targets was honestly genius. The final level killing only the targets WAS THE MOST INTENSE VR EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD. Climbing underneath the levels hanging from every spot possible was so tactical, it was rad. Another thing to add. I don't know if the dev intended this, BUT YO, F***ING ROCKET JUMPING. Using the rocket launcher to rocket jump through levels, using it tactically as well as setting up sick trick shots was the most fun I think I've had in VR. It was so silly and fun that it just worked great. Originally I bought the game on oculus. I bought the game here on steam as well to further support the developer. Fantastic job, my friends and I would gladly throw money your way in order to receive more levels, weapons, a second game, whatever you could do. More of this exact experience with more levels and weapons would be amazing. We adored this experience and would gladly pay for more. Thank you very much for this game!
Review last updated 7/23/19 9:00pm PST [Disclaimer] This review is based on my experience with the game pre-launch, testing each stage of development since the game was posted on reddit in pre-alpha. Watching the game turn from a pile of bugs where you need to tread with care to stay in the map to something that runs better than anything coming out of Bethesda these days. Yes I received it for free, and yes I have helped (in ways) to get it to this point. However, I intended to give an honest review without personal bias. [Notes] This game isn’t done. Development is going to slow after launch due to outside time constraints, but we can expect the game to grow at a decent pace, meaning it won’t be a one and done game. Just like you do with your VR headset, you can pick up the game once in awhile and likely have something to do. As this update, so will this review. As it stands this review was written based on a version that wasn’t even the final release so… expect it to be a bit better. ---{Graphics}--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☐ Beautiful ☐ Good ☑ Decent (some parts need work, it’s basically an assembled asset pack) ☐ Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ Paint.exe ---{Gameplay}--- ☐ Very good ☑ Good (strong suit of the game) ☐ It‘s just gameplay ☐ Mehh ☐ Starring at walls is better ☐ Just don‘t ---{Audio}--- ☐ Eargasm ☐ Very good ☐ Good ☑ Not too bad (Enjoy the devs glooorious voice acting) ☐ Bad ☐ Earrape ---{Audience}--- ☐ Kids ☑ Teens ☑ Adults ☐ Human ---{PC Requirements}--- ☐ Check if you can run paint ☐ Potato ☐ Decent ☑ Fast (from my testing your CPU needs to be decent) ☐ Rich boiiiiii ☐ Ask NASA if they have a spare computer ---{Difficulity}--- ☐ Just press ‚A‘ ☐ Easy ☑ Significant brain usage (doesn’t take long or too many tries to do. Some levels can be hard to get S rank) ☐ Easy to learn / Hard to master ☐ Difficult ☐ Dark Souls ---{Grind}--- ☑ Nothing to grind (you get new weapons after most if not all levels (A rank and S rank can give 2 separate unlocks) ☐ Only if u care about leaderboards/ranks ☐ Isn’t necessary to progress ☐ Average grind level ☐ Too much grind ☐ You‘ll need a second live for grinding ---{Story}--- ☑ Story? (almost more of an Easter egg than a story) ☐ Text or Audio floating around ☐ Average ☐ Good ☐ Lovley ☐ It‘ll replace your life ---{Game Time}--- ☐ Long enough for a cup of coffee ☑ Short (my playtime doesn’t reflect total time as some of it was on oculus, but it doesn’t take too long to finish. Currently working on improving that with stuff like endless modes) ☐ Average ☐ Long ☐ To infinity and beyond ---{Price}--- ☐ It’s free! ☑ Worth the price (Normally i say if I get a good hour of fun for each dollar spent, then its worth it.. however, that standard doesn’t work in VR games, where $24 games can only have 4-6 hours of content. With that in mind I would say yeah, compared to other VR options, I would drop $9 on this game.) ☐ If u have some spare money left ☐ Not recommended ☐ You could also just burn your money ---{Bugs}--- ☐ Never heard of ☑ Minor bugs (there will always be bugs, but coming from the small few who tested it, we looked for everything we could find and last I checked they were practically all patched) ☐ Can get annoying ☐ ARK: Survival Evolved ☐ The game itself is a big terrarium for bugs
Not a whole lot to it. You climb and shoot boxy enemies that have extremely simple AI. You have 1 hp, so the game does have a little difficulty to it. Uses lots of generic assets. Somehow still more satisfying than some other games I've played. I can't recommend it for $8.99 though - feels more $4.99 to me, so it looks like I get to break this game's negative review cherry. My biggest complaint isn't the simple AI or the generic assets, it's the alert sound. Every enemy I've seen so far makes the exact same 'Heh?' sound in a voice that sounds somewhat like Peter Griffin when alerted to your presence.

It's very easy die if you don't take your time around the levels. There's also a good amount of replay value, trying different routes clearing levels. And Kudos to the developer taking on board suggestions and big fixing with incredible responsiveness.
i have 18.2 hours and can beat it in less than 30 seconds now
Just bought this game yesterday and played for nearly an hour. My first thoughts are it has potential. It still needs a lot of work and fine tuning. Firstly, the Devs need to change the gun angle. I have a Vive Pro with OG controllers and the gun angle makes shooting accurately nearly impossible. Change this problem first. Then I would recommend fine tuning the locomotion. It is difficult to move around the map because the locomotion is jittery. Next make it so the player can configure the controllers. I would recommend using the menu button on the Vive for grabbing to climb and allow the gun to remain in the players hand once grabbed so you don't have to constantly grip the grip buttons to hold on. I don't know if other guns make for better aiming but the silenced pistol's aiming is very poor and it doesn't help that you can't shoot any bots from a distance. Overall, I will keep this game hoping it improves with time while in EA but I don't see going back to play it until it is improved.
Though I get sick of VR games because of my motion sickness (me problem) The game is not too bad, you get to climb using your controllers and shoot some heads. Nice.
This game does not work with index controllers, which is a real shame, given that it looks fun.
