Absolute Garbage

Fun retro helicopter sim. Runs great on old hardware or through pc emulation services like winlator or gamehub. Look forward to more updates/missions (or maybe a mission editor?), though already fun and playable as it is!

Excellent game. It works so well on Steam Deck. It took some time to click into the controls, but it's normal for me, coming from PC+mouse and all. One small piece of hope for the future - network multi-player. At least LAN 1vs1. It's just a hope, but if there are any such plans, I'd like to encourage it.

It's got that Sega Genesis+ feel that gets your cartridge blowing child in you screaming "SUNNY DELIGHT!"

Tolles Spiel - erinnert sehr stark an LHX: Attack Chopper aus dem Jahre 1990. Funktioniert einwandfrei mit meinem Thrustmaster T.16000M Flight Stick. Abwechslungsreiche Missionen und gute technische Umsetzung. Wer Flugsimulationen aus dem Zeitraum 1985 bis in die frühen 90iger Jahre mag, wird dieses Spiel lieben.

Did you grow up in the 80s or 90s playing games like Gunship, LHX, F-19 Stealth Fighter, and F-15 Strike Eagle II? Well, this is the game for you. Thunder Helix is a nostalgia trip and yet makes something its own. It controls well. More games need to revisit this genre. Well done, Mr. Walters!
