Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3640878972

[th]

★★★☆☆
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3646231296
No spoilers in this review! Played on a Steamdeck @MatureContent
This game is boring and feels lazy in design, just a soulless experience. The story in this game is kinda unimportant, there isnt really anything fun or deep or anything to hold on to and I started skipping cutscenes pretty fast. It also didnt help much that the cutscenes are these semi animated slide shows, where the characters within are moving 3D renders that just stand there while their voice lines play out, it made the already flat plotline feel even flatter. The levels are also nothing to celebrate. They are very short and in the most simple form of a beat em up you can imagine. You beat up an average of 10 to 15 identical enemies to complete a level, which for someone used to video games takes maybe a minute to two to accomplish. Usually you can excuse design like this on the age group in which the game is targeted for, but this game is clearly for an older audience than most of the other games published by Outright Games, and with that in mind, the oversimplified gameplay just comes off as boring and lazy level design. I played this alone on my wifes Steam Deck, so it could be that playing co-op is more enjoyable than solo, though I highly doubt it, since co-op should make completing the levels even faster. The gameplay itself, in terms of combat and keybinds, was actually alright. I quite enjoyed the combat and each character does feel different, which is a shame when the rest is so lacking. It also ran well on the Steam Deck with no issues at all, like it was made for it. Like expected, they charge way too much for this game, like they always do with these games built on a known IP, so I wouldnt get this unless it is on sale for less than 10 bucks, but even then, I would just recommend playing something else. ————————————————————————————— Help me out by following my Curator, I’d really appreciate it!!
I really wanted to love this game. I love the movie it's based on, I love the show that came out after based on that movie, I love the action figure line... This game though. Its just very rough around the edges. If you are a parent of young children this game is good for them maybe. It feels like a "My first platformer/brawler style game". Have you played the Paw Patrol Games, or the PJ Mask games? Well, this feels strangely very similar. The fact Outright games was involved in this production shows. All of their games feel like this. Like mush that strives to be more. Visually it's fun but by no means as much of a treat as I thought it would be. My 5 year old daughter had an okay time with it but not sure it will be sticking around. Go support this franchise in another way maybe. I hate to say it. Nickelodeon should have used a different studio or something. It's sadly just not a very fun game and I went in thinking other reviews were being too harsh and that I would be the one to right a great review for this title.
A marginal thumbs down. Playing this with my kids in co-op, we get stuck frequently by needing to be very close to each other to progress and the arrows that indicate where to go next is not easily found and disappears easily. Get stuck by progression walls that you can't backtrack to get health pickups from enemies you just killed too. Gameplay is good. Story line is alright. I love this generation and art of TMNT, but this game needed some more TLC
Outright Games strikes again... doing serious damage to a licensed game property through accountant driven game design. Let's start at the beginning. TMNT: Mutants Unleashed looks great... and that's it. Everything else is awful... a shallow, incredibly badly ported Nintendo Switch game dumped on Steam more as a cash grab than anything else. Why? Now we can talk about Outright Games. These guys are a financial operation, they acquire media licenses to popular franchises (Fast & Furious, TMNT, Chicken Run, Peppa Pig, Transformers, DreamWorks Dragons, Adventure Time, Spongebob Squarepants, you name it) and pump out incredibly shallow mini-games with enticing looking visuals and nothing else going for them. This is purely orientated around generating sales from the license to pay off the license... at no point is any serious effort given to making a game that people would actually want to play. And that sucks for a lot of reasons, which TMNT: Mutants Unleashed exemplifies perfectly. See, while the accountants who run Outright Games get their quarterly sales (barely) and high five each other while underpaying the developers (who they'll surely replace with AI in no time), gamers lose. In line with just about every game from Outright Games, TMNT: Mutants Unleashed is a very shallow button masher, and one of the worse console/handheld ports I've ever seen. Looks great, unimportant story, terrible "tick just enough boxes for sale" gameplay elements and no reason to want to keep playing because it handles so badly. Sure, a lot of developers make bad games, amateur developers almost exclusively focus on making bad games, AAA developers sometimes do it too (for purely financial reasons), but when this is done with a great media franchise, it hurts the franchise. Because of this garbage, which probably only barely covered the licensing costs from Nickelodeon, better, more serious developers will look at popular media franchises and write them off because "they don't make money". But they don't make money, because developers like Outright Games pump out minimum viable product garbage like this, instead of real games people would want to play. And it's because of the accountant driven development studios like Outright Games that we don't get excellent Star Trek, Transformers, TMNT, whatever franchise games. They're hurting gamers and this gaming industry with this shallow crap. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. As mentioned, this is one of the worse Nintendo Switch ports I've seen... no mouse look, locked camera (just like the console peasants love and PC gamers hate). Because this is designed for handheld/portable gaming appliances, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the low power handheld gaming appliances that the game was designed for. These are unfortunate compromises and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was a second thought for the mobile game developers. The game is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for low power handhelds forces upon a game. While this might run well on a Steam Deck, we must remember the vast majority of gamers here are gaming on PC. The graphics in this game are really quite good, which at least makes the game look more appealing. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time and money, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. To make matters worse, there's no mouse input, despite this being sold on PC as if it were a PC game. This is unacceptable and somewhat insulting to PC gamers. It's a good demonstration of the poor attitude the developer has towards PC gamers, and this attitude has resulted in yet another defect in this game. PC gamers will be insulted by the demand from the developer that a console peasant children's toy controller should be used, despite this being on PC. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're developing for, and must never, under any circumstances dictate to gamers how their games are to be experienced. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 140,000+ games on Steam? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed has the completely unrealistic cash grab price of $40 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.
I'd say this is unfortunately a bargain bin game, like most of Outright Games published games. I like that there's local 2 player co-op, though it's finicky and required both players join in before the first player selects a character. I wish Outright Games gave games like this a little more time to polish up, because you can still, on occasion, run into enemies that go behind walls, forcing one to restart a level. I got this on a discount with DLC and still feel like I paid too much for the enjoyment I got out of it. I liked the story fine, I loved the costumes from the DLC appearing in most cutscenes and end credits. The combat was good, though it gets repetitive. This is better than some recent TMNT offerings, though Shredder's Revenge and Splintered Fate are still top of the heap in that regard. If this ever happens to drop below $10, I'd say that's the sweet spot to buy.
This is obviously a game made for young kids, given the complete lack of challenge and gratingly annoying dialogue. Why a game for young kids has such excessive text prompts, constant interruptions and multiple systems for upgrades kind of puzzles me. It's also filled with janky bugs and constant loading screens which is fun for all ages.
I bought this to play with my 3 year old, who can solo some of the boss fights. Don't expect this to be a challenging beat em up. That's not my issue. My issue is the clunkiness of every aspect of the game. -Only some of it is voiced over. So I have to read everything for my 3 year old, which brings me to my next point -the coop stopped working for us 20 hours into the game. I can select two player on the start screen and hit 'A' on the Xbox controller, but the second character never shows up anymore. It's not even a good single player game for him because of the first issue. -when we were playing split screen, the walls keeping players together were bugging. We could both be at the wall to progress and it wouldn't. We would have to go back a ways to reset and try again. Not bad unless you're on a platforming section and the camera doesn't play nice. -the story is kind of clunky also and is sort of low key pushing allegories for politics. The movie did it too, but it was done with taste and brought a lot of nostalgia from the 90s/00s. This feels like its trying to push immigration politics and political organization on little kids, rather than "let's all br friends."
I love TMNT and I enjoying playing their games, but this one I really do not like it. Most of the missions are "hey go talk to this person" and it takes a full day to do that (in game time, like really). When you go to those missions its literally nothing but dialog, you enter the map and walk to them, but its all subtitle dialog. Even when you are at the home base in the sewer, you will encounter a day of dialog where Mikey just talks about doing a podcast (seriously) and the game restarts on a new day after that. It is very heavy on useless dialog. The game is so boring. When you get to fighting parts, dodging does nothing, and the maps are all closed off (even when it looks like there's room to explore, but there isn't). I really wanted to like this game but I just can't, the game just puts me to sleep and I just can't wait for it to be over and end up quitting the game. I do not recommend this game.
