About
Thronefall is a minimalist strategy game where you build a humble kingdom by day and defend it by night. Balance economy and defense by fortifying walls, recruiting troops, and charging into battle yourself to protect your stronghold from relentless waves of attackers.
Perfect for quick sessions or fortification marathons, step into a streamlined and endlessly replayable twist on tower defense!

10 Maps. From the mountainous Nordfels to the vibrant Wildbach, progress through a range of maps with different terrain, weather, enemies, buildings and challenges.
9 Unlockable Weapons. As a Warrior King, seize a weapon to take with you into combat, from Battleaxe to Blood Wand.
Over 50 Unlockable Perks. Take up to 5 perks that bestow certain advantages, and optional Mutators to ramp up the difficulty.

Protect your Kingdom with Walls, Barricades, Shrines and Towers.
Expand your economy with Houses, Bridges, Gold Mines, Harbors, Mills and Fields. These buildings grant you gold every morning – if they survive.
Research upgrades with the Castle Center, Blacksmith and Royal Forge.
Build your military with Barracks, Archery Ranges and Hero's Quarters. Your forces include Knights, Berserks, Crossbowmen, Fire Archers, and special Heroes such as Golems and Mages.

When night falls, an increasingly strong succession of foes threaten to overwhelm your Kingdom. The sun only rises when they're dead.
From wooden Barrel Knights and Flying Mages to Ogres, Slimes, Wasps and Catapults, the land is teeming with danger.
If your Castle Center is razed, you lose.
As King, lead from the vanguard and defend your little Kingdom til you see the sun rise.

Amazing Game. What I thought Kingshot was, but they just ripped this off and made it a horrible app.
Its really good and cheap better play and help the creator than some corporate shills that copies his game as just some mobile ass commercials
This feels like one of those poor mobile game ads but in a good way. It's the game you wish those ads really represented. The art is charming the loop is addictive and the premise is simple. Just an enjoyable game through and through with enough variety to keep you interested without overstaying its welcome. Good sense of replay value. What you see on the trailer is really what you get and I just find that refreshing.
Thronefall removes the complicated parts of strategy games and keeps all the satisfying decisions. By day, you spend limited gold building your economy, upgrading defenses, and recruiting troops. By night, you ride into battle alongside your army and desperately try to protect the kingdom you just created. The cycle is simple, but deciding between one more income upgrade and one more defensive tower can make or break an entire run. The minimalist presentation works perfectly. Everything is easy to understand, the controls feel smooth, and battles can become surprisingly intense without burying you under menus or excessive micromanagement. Different maps, weapons, perks, and optional difficulty modifiers also provide plenty of reasons to experiment. Some challenges can require very specific strategies, and repeatedly repositioning units may become tedious during harder attempts. Even so, the streamlined gameplay makes failure feel more like a reason to adjust your plan than a reason to quit. Build during the day, panic during the night, and blame yourself for spending all your gold on houses. 10/10.
this how fun tower defense games should be, minimal, responsive and fun CAUTION: very addicting
The actual game for all the fake mobile game adds that were never what they advertised. THIS IS THE GAME AND ITS AWESOME
5.5/10 minimalist tower defense. a game to turn your brain off to. - not really about what you build in level so much as the 5 perks you went into the level with that effect the game the most - cant choose where anything goes + tiny unlock progression system would get on sale
I approve!
Fantastic game! Relaxing and intriguing at the same time.
This tower defense game is an absolute joy. The artistic style is very attractive and the mechanics are fun to get down. I highly recommend a controller as using a keyboard was not my favorite playstyle. I do wish that the AI engaged in combat easier as sometimes I feel they are just standing there and don't engage because I have them set in place. You can't see a lot of times when they are actively engaging combat (at least for the melee ones) and I wish there was a way to notice that a bit easier. It does have nice strategy to implement with figuring out where to play what. Sometimes it is a bit difficult to manage balancing building things that generate income and building enough to have defense/offense. Highly recommend this game if you enjoy tower defenses. It has nice replayability.
