Thermo Sudoku

Of the sudokus from the Cracking the Cryptic collection this is probably my favorite. I personally get more enjoyment out of the anti-knight rule for sudoku but I found myself getting a lot of enjoyment out of these sudokus. They also have a nice ramping difficulty where you can slowly learn the logic and spot things. I think the main reason I love this one more than the Chess collection is that there were more puzzles I enjoyed a lot and the last puzzle was one I was incredibly proud of myself for figuring out without using any hints. It also has some very beautiful logic. I felt like with my mediocre skills I was able to approach and appreciate the genius that you can see displayed by the Cracking the Cryptic solvers all the time.

Arguably one of the easier sudoku variants - even if you struggle at hard/expert level stanadrd sudoku puzzles, the logic behind thermometer sudoku makes for some really engaging yet approachable solves. Also CTC are awesome and you should absolutely buy the entire CTC bundle!

I'm very bad at sudoku. In any case, this is a lot of fun, and I find myself missing its interface when playing sudoku through other apps. The hand-crafted puzzles are definitely noticeable; if you've only played with generic collections or randomly generated puzzles, don't disregard the value of human-made sudokus.

Fun variation on Sudoku. Good value for money

Fun and good Sudoku game, the thermo restrictions do add a fun and different element that makes you think a bit harder. The interface is good once you get used to it but it would be nice to have music and sounds. The hints and smart hints and useful, if you use them to understand why the hint is given, you can really boost your sudoku skill. However, it's very difficult if you're somewhat new to sudoku's so it would require knowledge of at least a few techniques... x/y wings, snyder notes, naked singles etc otherwise I think you may struggle to even get started on the easiest ones.
