Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 19.43/day in the week to Aug 10 → 25.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
The Walking Dead is one of those games that stays with you long after you finish it. The story is amazing, and the characters are written so well that it’s hard not to get attached to them. At the same time, you’ll find yourself genuinely hating some of them. That’s what makes the game so emotional. You never know who’s going to survive, and losing a character you really liked can happen at any moment. The choices are difficult and often don’t have a perfect outcome, which makes every decision feel important. To me, this game is a masterpiece. It’s not a game with the best graphics or gameplay, but that’s never the point. The story, the relationships between the characters, and the emotional moments are what make it so memorable. If you enjoy story-driven games, I can’t recommend this enough. You’ll get a better survival story here than in any survival movie. It’s a beautiful experience that I’ll remember for a very long time.

emotional damage
this game is quite impressive. decisions affect a lot of the gameplay and you have limited time to react. Safe to say I loved letting that clementine girl eat the human meat even though i didnt mean to, i was satisfied i did my happy little accident
When I first started playing TWDG, I thought it was just going to be another zombie game. I expected a lot of action, killing walkers, and trying to survive. I couldn't have been more wrong. This game isn't really about zombies—it's about people, relationships, impossible choices, and living with the consequences of every decision you make. The characters are honestly what make this game so special. Every single one of them feels real. They all have their own personalities, strengths, flaws, and reasons for doing what they do. Before you even realize it, you start caring about them like they're actual people. That's what makes every choice so difficult. There were so many moments where I just sat there staring at the screen, trying to decide what to do because I didn't want anyone to get hurt. And somehow, no matter what you choose, it still feels like you made the wrong decision. The story is an absolute masterpiece. One minute you're smiling because everything finally seems okay, and the next minute the game completely destroys you emotionally. It keeps you on edge the entire time, and it constantly makes you question what you would actually do if you were in that situation. And Clementine... watching her grow from a scared little girl into such a strong and independent person is one of the best character arcs I've ever seen in any game. You don't just watch her story—you feel like you're growing alongside her. That's what makes this game hit so much harder than most movies or TV shows. The ending completely broke me. No spoilers, but if you make it to the end without crying, you're honestly built differently. I was crying like a little kid, and I'm not even embarrassed to admit it. After the credits rolled, I just sat there staring at my screen, thinking about everything that had happened. For me, The Walking Dead by Telltale is the greatest story-driven game ever made. Not because of the gameplay or the graphics, but because of how it makes you feel. Very few games leave a lasting impact on you after you finish them, but this one stays with you for a long, long time. **11/10. If you haven't played it yet, do yourself a favor and give it a chance. Just be prepared... this game will probably break your heart.**
