The Tragedy at Deer Creek

An alright 7/10 game. Not a fan of pixel-hunting and looking for hotspots, which made the game artificially last 4 hours, but it doesn't overstay its welcome. The supernatural element, although foreshadowed, made the notable appearance only in the final act of the game and was mainly used to speedrun the plot. Controls are mouse-only, but you need a keyboard at hand to press escape to save/quit game from time to time. Apart form that, it's all good. Quite nice debut game, I would say. I will definitely look towards the next ones.

Excellent narrative game, I really enjoyed the story, the atmosphere and the puzzles.

A short and beautiful little game, with amazing music and art. I hope this game makes it possible for the developers to make something even better next! Until then I hope they release the soundtrack on Steam, I thought it was wonderful :)

This is a story rich point and click game, with exploration and puzzles that move the story along at a nice pace. Definitely a recoomended one.

This is an absolutely beautiful game and the developers should be very proud. Lovely artwork, storyline, voice acting and the puzzles made sense. I had to make a few adjustments to start it on Steam Deck but can confirm it played perfectly from then on. I completed it in roughly 4.5 hours and only became stuck once, when I simply hadn't noticed an item. The only thing I would suggest is adding a trigger warning, as some of the content is distressing and caught me a little off guard. This game will stay with me for some time. Highly recommended.

I loved the story and atmosphere. Puzzles are light and don't get in the way. A bit on the short side and I didn't like that the story was concluded with a long exposition dump. I would have preferred to come to the conclusion more organically via environmental storytelling. Pity because everything was there....

This was rad! Loved the little bit of supernatural creepy yet grounded approach.
