Best casual a-rpg
good game
The mid-endgame is a bit grinder, took me about 26 hours to get to the trials but the general character builds and progression are satisfying.
I DO NOT recommend. This game is repetive and grindy to extents you'd expect in a greedy FTP MMO. Only five maps. Enjoy doing literally the same thing, forever. Invisible tiny rocks and furniture blocking your way. Dead ends and narrow corridors everywhere. Running past enemies is more efficient than killing them. That's so so so BAD for a loot game. Exceptionally borning mid- and end-game slog. Getting to level 100 (where the game actually begins, like all the fun overpowered youtube videos show off) will take you like 10 to 15 hours (this would be okay if that wasn't 15 mindless hours of doing literally the same uberboring three activities again and again. Imagine if POE was just breach and Alva and ritual, and nothing else. unbearable) fake "build variety". Systems are mandatory gated behind certain mechanics (eg life on hit, mana on hit, certain nodes, certain conversions) are borderline required. As a new player, even if you put mana regen on all your gear and tree and skills, you still can't sustain damage upgrades, which scale your "basic attack" to cost over 400 mana per attack. Poorly explained systems and mechanics. The "poe skill tree" where you equip auras and stuff is unusable. "influence" is never descibed, and then you're asked to max it to progress. There's a codex in game but it doesn't explain anything. RNG gating. I don't want 1000 other weapons, I just want the one I need to enable my build. I don't want to grind endlessly in the hopes the weapon I need for my fun build I watched on youtube drops. This game wastes your time in uninteresting ways. Play Path of Exile or Chronicon or Grim Dawn or DIablo instead.
Super cool and scratches the POE itch. Albeit a bit grindy, builds are satisfying to play.
Like someone else said: satisfying progress, enjoyable grind, definitely worth its price.
Excellent ARPG. There's a lot more character & build crafting here than your average indie title. This definitely scratched the itch for a good loot driven game. Very happy to have stumbled across this gem!
Worth every penny, and more. Interesting build craft, simple and easy to understand itemization.
