Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best BR #84, worst PL #86 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

The overall design of this game feels all wrong. It's an open-world RPG with loot, combat and character development but none of it feels right. Open-world is lifeless, empty and annoying to trudge through and the looting and chardev are only there to support the combat that doesn't feel very fun. The reason I stuck with the game until the end is the vibe, story and all the detective work. It's also the reason I'm thumbing it up. Not sure what the sequel will be like - most likely more of the same - but I'd love Frogwares to shrink the game considerably, exchange the large, empty open world for a small setting, packed with content. Oh and lose the RPG and the combat and try to create tension any other way.
This game is great. It is funny that it took me about 4 tries to figure that out. The reason was every time before I was running into display issues on ultrawide, and the lack of cloud saves in the past meant having to restart each time I re-installed to give it another go. The remaster was a good opportunity to finally start a proper playthrough, and I am glad I waited. The graphics look great, run great, and I have zero complaints about how the game looks and feels. It has outstanding environments and a creepy feel. The story is straight-up Lovecraft; and it is done well. The puzzles are logical and transversal and dialogs are all high-quality. My only remaining complaints continue to be around ultrawide support: There is too much dependence on modders to create a feature that should be available straight-outta-the-box. I wish they would add ultrawide, multi-monitor-support, and an FOV; aside from that, this game is absolutely phenomenal.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Choices matter, eldritch horrors, investigations, and a city you can't leave. What more could you ask for, except for a city that you can leave?
Gostei bastante! mas só após entender a dinamica do game. Historia boa mas final achei fraco. Vale a pena jogar! Obs: roda muito bem no Steam Deck.

If you know what you’re getting into, The Sinking City Remastered can be an interesting experience. But honestly, it’s not a great game. There are way too many “collect this” type missions that quickly become repetitive. The atmosphere, however, is absolutely wonderful. The city feels eerie, mysterious, and heavy with tension, that’s definitely the game’s strongest point. The graphical boost helps, but overall it still feels like something in between. If you expect an action-packed experience, you’ll probably be disappointed. Combat has never been its strong side. For a lower price though, it can be a surprisingly entertaining game, especially if you enjoy exploring and reading lore. I’ve already completed it once on PlayStation, so this time I knew exactly what to expect. The cutscenes are a bit odd, most of them don’t really tie into the main story, and every diving cutscene is the same repeated cutscene, which gets dull fast. Still, there’s plenty to read and discover if you’re into Lovecraftian worlds. So overall, it’s a “yes and no” kind of recommendation. Great atmosphere, decent visuals, weak combat, but worth trying if you’re in the mood for a slow, mysterious detective story.
