Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best BR #84, worst PL #86 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
In principle a very nice detective game BUT with an enormously poor combat system

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Full review here: https://backloggd.com/u/Hereformemes/review/3492447/ TL;DR: Good game, but play the original over the remaster. It honestly looks and runs better, and any gameplay changes were not noticeable.
Si eres fan de los mitos de Cthulhu, no te lo puedes perder, quizá no tenga los mejores gráficos, y su jugabilidad sea un tanto brusca, pero la ambientación e historia son sobresalientes, lo he disfrutado de principio a fin.
A bleak Lovecraftian adventure set in the fictional city of Oakmont, sometime after the raid on Innsmouth and after a catastrophic tidal wave drowned most of the city. You play a private eye who suffers from nightmares and feels he might find his answers in this town. Its a part open world, story driven adventure game, that uses some of the mind palace mechanics from Frogware's Sherlock Holmes adventures. On the whole it's a bit of a curates egg of a game. There is a lot to like here but there are few duff notes as well. The main story is engaging and as Lovecraft demands, three optional but equally bleak endings. The side missions are a mixed bag of scavenger hunts and the occasional mystery. The detective side of the game feels a little undercooked and the exploration does give your impression they had planned a much larger game. The combat is a little janky but not broken. I encountered no bugs in my playthrough. Though this is a remastered version. The graphics are pretty good. The voice acting is solid. Had it not been for the good main story this would have gotten a 5/10 from me, but I will happily give this a 7. I got around 41 hours out of this, I think I could have pushed it to 45 but I actually maxxed out all the skills trees. Its a decent little game. Keen to see the sequel.
problème sur l'avancement de la quête principale je me trouve bloqué la séquence ne ce lance pas .
Jogasso, muito bom
In a nutshell: it's a decent detective game with some captivating elements. Giving off an older game-like charm. Very much a product that had set out to do one thing and in my eyes, it achieved it. The main thing I like about this game is that it doesn't try to be this next big thing. It rather prefers to satisfy a certain neach. Pretty much sailing in its own waters. Detective side of the game feels perhaps the best. It's up to the player to do most of the investigation work. Finding clues, sifting through city records or making conclusions based on the collected evidence. This process feels quite satisfying to play. Our detective also poseses a couple of supernatural abilities to assist him in his work as a private eye. Like I've mentioned, the investigations are probably the best part of the whole game. As a detective, it's only natural to be armed with a weapon or two. You pick each firearm as you progress through the game. Next to weapons, there are also some other types of defence you can use. Including granades or molotovs. Combat here does not sound bad on paper, but in action it's a bit odd. Don't know if it's just me, but the controls are slightly off when in gunfight. It's not terrible by any means, just not as amazing as it could be. It definitely takes some getting used to. Brief side note: There are some instances of your typical game jank, but I personally found it more halarious than anything. Nothing to be upset about. The underwater sections are mixed bag for me. They are extremely short and it's almost like they're only there to act as a connective tissue in between on land segments. Which is a massive shame. There is so much missed opportunities. You're given a means to defend yourself, but there's just nothing to make use of this. I feel it's an arena that isn't fully realised. Which is sad because I liked the introduction of these deap ocean bits, but they are so reduced that it's almost pointless. In conclusion, The Sinking City is a well made game and whilst it has some rough edges. I still feel like it's a good recommendation to anyone who loves detective genre and a Lovecraftian atmosphere in video games.
wish we could change back to old graphics thanks for not releasing a new type of this ♥♥♥♥ for free -.-
