Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best BR #84, worst PL #86 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Типовий Житомир. Ну буває його підтоплює, навіщо з цього робити таку трагедію?
The Innsmouthers are humanized in this game. Turned into victims of persecution and racism. So they're a lot less interesting now. And I get why the devs did it. They felt guilty and self-conscious about making a Lovecraft game and this is their way of apologizing/virtue signaling to feel better about themselves. That is, make sure everybody who plays it knows that racism is bad. Yeah, thanks, we know. Doing this just turns your game from something interesting to adults into an episode of Sesame Street. Look man, if you have to declaw some awesome villains in order to feel better about making a Lovecraft game... Maybe you just shouldn't be the ones to make Lovecraft games.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm glad to see that Frogwares were able to regain ownership of The Sinking City after their publisher dispute. It was great of them to release a remastered version and provide it for free to owners of the original game, especially considering the proceeds from earlier sales were taken by the publisher. My review is based on the original release, which I completed before the remastered version replaced it. The Sinking City is an excellent game for fans of Lovecraftian horror. The premise is unique, following a detective drawn to a mysterious, flooded city. The visuals are fantastic and perfectly capture the eerie atmosphere you’d expect from a Lovecraft-inspired world. The dialogue system is solid, and I appreciate that your choices don’t lock you into specific actions, allowing you to backtrack on previous decisions, which feels refreshingly flexible. The voice acting is good, though not outstanding, and the character models are well-detailed, adding to the unsettling vibe of Oakmont. The story is interesting and fairly well fleshed out, though it dips into goofiness at times. Combat can be a bit janky and frustrating, but I mostly got used to it as the game progressed. The difficulty felt well-balanced overall, I never felt either underpowered or overpowered. What really sets this game apart is the investigation system. While some clues can be cryptic, the Mind Palace mechanic is engaging and adds a lot to the experience. You can expect to finish the game in about 15–20 hours. I enjoyed it enough to go for 100% completion, which took me close to 30 hours. I highly recommend this title. It frequently goes on sale for under $20, which is an absolute bargain in my opinion. I'm also really looking forward to the announced sequel.
You might as well just buy the base game, the remake is a disaster. The frameGen doesn't work, They know about it but aren't doing anything at all. It requires far too many resources to be only slightly better than the original. The game stutters a lot for no apparent reason. It's a total scam, and the developers have completely abandoned it.
Ryzen 7 9800x3d + 5090 y va a 70 FPS con DLSS calidad. El juego peor optimizado que me he encontrado.
Style is super cool, but the gameplay is extremely frustrating. It takes about half an hour to go to a new location on the map, because you have to read the street names and mark the map yourself, then try every door on that street till you find the right one. Your guns constantly run out of ammo, and materials for crafting are very sparse. When the sanity meter drops even a little bit, the screen warps and twists, and the character starts to hallucinate monsters and horrors. Any time your character sees a dead body, he loses a chunk of the sanity meter. Any time he even hears a monster in the building, he loses a chunk of the sanity meter. Using the detective vision also causes the sanity meter to drop.
This is a story-driven game with simple combat mechanics. If you are after nicely written, eerie stories; it is a very good game. There is an interesting investigation mechanic and I suggest turning off any hints. Figuring things out somewhat on my own was very enjoyable.
