Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.

Não gostei. A gameplay é bem datada e não conseguiu me prender.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 76.75/day in the week to Jul 15 → 3.57/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Tbh I'm not a big fan of detective stories but this one was rly good. Recommend
UE5 sometimes make the game visual kinda glitches and weird then the lag coming to hit you like you owned it money. The story is normal, not good or bad but can give you enough curious to go with it
Recommended (with caveats) / Mixed feelings 6/10 The Sinking City has one massive saving grace: its story. If you’re here for Lovecraftian lore, eerie atmosphere, and genuinely compelling detective writing, the narrative does heavy lifting. In fact, the story was quite literally the only thing that kept me pushing through to the end credits. Beyond the writing and the decent general art direction of the flooded city of Oakmont, the game's AA budget and technical limitations show up everywhere: Combat & Movement: The shooting mechanics feel clunky and stiff, and movement is sluggish—the character runs frustratingly slow. The performance can get laggy, and the monsters honestly feel like they were lifted straight out of Silent Hill 2 rather than feeling uniquely terrifying. Visuals & Assets: The city looks suitably bleak, but character models and facial animations are noticeably rough. You will run into the exact same NPC models reused across both main and side quests, which shatters immersion pretty quickly. Cutscene Oddities: Cutscenes appear to be pre-rendered video files rather than in-engine, meaning whatever custom outfit you equip gets completely ignored in cinematics in favor of the default suit. Pacing & Repetition: The first half of the game is significantly better and more engaging than the second half. By the final quarter, the pacing drags and starts feeling repetitive, culminating in an ending that is just okay. The side quests suffer from the exact same structural loop as the main missions, to the point where after trying one or two, I completely ignored the rest and stuck strictly to the critical path. Verdict: Treat this purely as a AA narrative detective mystery rather than an action or polished open-world game. Pick it up on a steep sale if you love Lovecraftian mystery and can tolerate clunky combat and recycled assets just to experience a cool story. Otherwise, it might test your patience.
