Its more of an episode 1 than a full game. Visually, I noticed lines around the edges of the puzzle pieces, and one puzzle had some weird layering over some pieces. The thing that erked me the most was some items being mislabed, eg: calling a trowel a shovel, calling wall clocks watches, etc. I'm gonna blame that on translation error. Deffinitely not worth $6.99. (I'm glad I got it on sale)

It's...pretty subpar. I'd hate to not recommend it since there isn't anything particularly broken about the game BUT... It's outdated, there are a lot more better looking, better functioning games at its price. It's hard to convince someone to get it unless they're the type that prefers a much larger ratio of Hidden Object scenes to puzzles. I'd say there's about 95% HO scenes. It's chocful of it, although the items you look for are too easy to find and/or repeated throughout the HOs. Keep in mind, there are puzzles in this game too, not just HOs. The graphics did not age well at all, with the background so poorly stretched across my monitor---it wasn't hard to differentiate which objects were clickable from the BGs, which made the challenge pretty much vanish. But again, there's so many HOs so if you're looking for a time waster, I suppose this will do...? I feel like the lack of direction, since there's no "journal" was easy to forgive since all you have to do is pretty much follow the arrows and click anything that glittered. Still, there were some minigames where I had no idea what to do to solve it. It turns out you actually HAVE to click "HINT" in order to figure out the instructions to a mini-puzzle. There are 2-3 puzzles there that don't make sense at first glance. Overall, I'm not sure. I probably wouldn't have gotten it outside a bundle, it's just too low quality in comparison to so much more many new ones. But I also feel like any developer should get as much support as it can to continue improving and providing good games. I guess if you're more of a quantity over quality type of HOG gamer, you'll definitely get your HOs worth with this.

one of the worst HOGs i have ever played. almost no story. just a scene after a scene a puzzle after a puzzle. i beat it in around 1 hour and 40 minutes 1/10

If you're a fan of hidden object puzzles, this might be the game for you. This games has hidden object scene after hidden object scene, in which you collect objects of unexplained value. The endless puzzles are strung together with very little story. I couldn't finish the game because on my system, the hidden object puzzles would randomly display white fields in which no objects were visible (making completion of the puzzle impossible). With no story to string me along, I quickly gave up.

Ce jeu est ennuyeux. L'histoire est trop peu développer, on ne s'attache pas au personnage principale et on nous balance des info' comme si l y avait eu un précédent jeu au quel le joueur aurait joué. Et je ne parle pas des décor qui sont sombre et peut pratique pour les scène d'objet cacher. De plus le jeu impose un mini-jeu tout de suite après les scènes d'objets caché pour imposé ensuite une recherche d'artefact en lien avec l'histoire ou on ne sait quel enigme ou lieu non découvert encore. Un conseil aux amateurs du genre.. Vous trouverez bien d'autre jeu d'objet caché largement meilleurs que ce truc sur Steam

クリアした感想です。 探し物ゲーム 延々と指定されたアイテムを探すだけのゲーム。 パズル要素もあるが、見たことあるようなものばかり。 絵のとおりに合わせる場所があるが、似たような状態が何通りもあり全通り試す必要がある。 また、パズルは全てスキップ可能。 ゲーム面としては面白いとは言えないだろう。 ストーリー面としても選択肢があるわけでもなく、以外な展開があるわけでもない。 プレイは適当にやっても2~3時間もあれば終わるだろう。 ただの作業なので、このゲームはオススメできない。

Only play this if you are a hardcore fan of hidden-object games, and even then only if you're run out of what to play. It's pretty much a pure, old, low resolution hidden-object game. There are plenty of good hidden-object scenes, the puzzles are very nice, but there's little else: the story is thin and there's no real point-and-click adventuring. The graphics are OK, but the music is painfully repetitive. Unfortunately, several small bugs force me to give this a thumbs down. There are instances where you are asked to find an item and there are several items on screen that would logically match but only one is "correct." Worst, the objects might be wrong: in one scene I was told to find a "hammer" but through trial and error I found out that the required object was actually a chalice. YOU HAD ONE JOB. Also, when there is some point-and-click to do, there is no indication of where you're supposed to click on screen. For example, at one point you're supposed to use a paperclip to unlock a door, but the cursor doesn't change or otherwise indicate that the door is not part of the scenery. Still, I'm giving this a thumbs up for hardcore fans only: there are so many hidden-object scenes that it's still fun to play despite the problems.

Beaucoup de désagrèments avec ce Secret of Hildegards : - avec la résolution en premier lieu, tout petit en fenêtré et assez flou en plein écran (1920x1080) pour rendre difficile l'identification de petits objets, - simple alternance de SOC bric à brac et de mini-jeux non documentés, certains évidents d'autres moins, j'en ai laissé deux de côté pour ne simplement pas avoir compris ce que j'étais censé faire, - fréquentes multiples occurences d'un objet à trouver dans les SOC, - noms prêtant parfois à confusion (en particulier pour montre, horloge et leurs variations, considérez que tout ce qui donne l'heure est un bon candidat); bon, c'est courant dans ce genre de jeu, pas un vrai souci de celui-ci, - histoire simpliste en quelques petits panneaux de texte toutes les 5 ou 6 SOC-mini jeux, - interface minimaliste, même pas de journal, - indice et passer très long à recharger. Je suis allé au bout, fidèle à mon légendaire entêtement mais sincérement, épargnez-vous ça. Même dans la catégorie enchainement de SOC pur et dur si c'est ce que vous cherchez, on trouve nettement plus jouable.
