Deeply saddened to say that I don't recommend this game. Played it with my brother on my birthday and we had a really fun time until the end. We both love philosophy, so we enjoyed weighing all of the options we had and we did our best to be strategic in hopes we could give a happy ending to our main characters. Although we expected a plot twist, we really sincerely hoped we would be able to find some sort of clever solution to give some hope for our main characters, who we had become incredibly invested in. But for a game that challenges people to ask big, important questions about life, and to fight for a better world with the people you love, it ends on a surprisingly nihilistic, hopeless, dull note that left me feeling like "what was the point in all of this?". Like when you're watching a movie and the plot twist and the ending are just so... deeply horribly unsatisfying. I just cannot in good conscience recommend this game to anyone who prefers to hope and to fight for a better world.
Short and complex. Sweet and sour. Simple and deep. For the lenght of a feature-lenght movie, this game proposes fun mini-games, great dialogues and enthralling mechanics, all boiling down to a great narrative about the hard problem of consciousness, the weight of choices, the desire to love and have it shared, technology and its use under capitalism, and much more. Best played with a glass of whatever beverage that suits you, a rainy night and a desire to feel something.
The potting mechanics and instructions is confusing...and the bartendering thing lacked depth. Still, the story make up for it.
喜欢红弦俱乐部的人都没看过几本书吧,它的设计和哲思有一点创新但也不多,玩游戏玩的我只想快进,好烦躁,谁想要游戏我免费送
GREAT GAME. The story, the art style, the connections, it was a masterpiece. Enjoyed every bit of the game. Worth it at full price imo. Short enough to complete in a day, but the game doesn't feel short story wise. Would play again for achievements and to try out different choices!
As someone who doesn't play a lot of single player story driven games, I was so so surprised with how much I enjoyed this game. The story, characters, art and gameplay were all incredible and my only criticism is that there isn't enough of it. thankfully I can play it again to find different avenues. And maybe save brandies?
Very fun game. Relaxing and chill but also engaging. Some puzzles, moral/ethical pondering. A great choose your own adventure game.
剧本写得很好,探讨的东西很有意思,喜欢让自己面临道德困境,喜欢把自己置身于混乱之中的朋友们一定不要错过
