You can tell a lot of heart & soul went into this. It's kind of sad that it hasn't gotten more attention. It only has 5 user reviews even though it's probably the best pirate RPG ever in VR. Is it perfect? No. Is it the smoothest experience possible? No. It honestly feels at time like an old-school RPG that has been just brought back from the past and force-fed into VR. You're gonna deal with a lot of menus and pointing and clicking in this game. However, there's also so much depth behind this game. I did not even scratch the surface of everything you can do in this game. There's a lot to a pirate's life! I have not found a cave yet. I have found shipwrecks. I've gotten into a few sea battles. I've gone underwater swimming looking for loot. I've done lots of looting & honest trading as well. Going to the tavern is a must. Building up your fleet is as well. Buying this game is an investment. Because it'll take time to learn all the different mechanics. However, it does a good job of being a PIrate RPG. You're looting, sailing the high seas, and you're getting into trouble. Game was running okay on my RTX 5090, getting 80-90 fps. You can play comfortably seated. You have full locomotion, along with smooth and snap turning. There's many different ways of controlling your ship and I'm sure you'll find one that suits you. SUCKS! Game is a bug, cant even play. Character/Camera height is way too tall, even sitting which I hate playing vr, i am still too tall. And my hands disappeared so i cant even use the menu.

Love the game hope they keep working on it and add more features ie more control or Commands over other ships in your fleet.more or access to interiors on bigger ships (Crew Quarters)OR Storage Rooms for emersion.like you see when Fighting a warship captain.More Random sea encounters, Treasure Ships abandon ships.Game is alot of fun as it is Great Job.!!!

this game is a great pirate sim for VR. Bought it on the Quest 3s, bought it again on PC. just wish we had sharks in the game and character shadows for pc.

Картинку (изображение) трясет на квест2 и пико4 через стимлинк, глазам больно и играть очень не приятно. Настроек графики нет, чтоб хотя бы чутка увеличить fps. Нет русского языка, даже машинного. Для мультиплеера нужна регистрация и сомнительно, что он работает на рф из-за нашего любимого рэкэнэ. Проверить не удалось. А так гама выглядит любопытно. Возможно купил рановато...

very fun pirate game. home net games seem to have a knack for good vr titles - both this and airplanes series are solid 'AA' games, somewhat limited in scope but for the price no complaints whatsoever. I remember playing old pirates! games for hours and hours, this gives me similar vibes and pull:) played it on psvr2 with pc adapter, looks and plays solid.

nice little game that could get a gem with a little bit more love. very satisvying for people with pacience but with some mayor drawdowns - the safe option is bad, you dont be able to regress to an anterior safeslot, this combined with some bugs can get very frustrating, basic graphics, decent sound and a poor AI - enemies as well as your own crews and captains act really stupid. Simplistic but over all its FUN

There have been quite a few pirate games lately. Skull and Bones (Ubisoft) – It’s an okay game, but it lacks the commerce and trading aspect that I really enjoy. WindRose – Almost zero trading, it’s all action. Still a fun game though. Then there’s this game – it’s excellent. It has really good trading mechanics, balanced combat, and a satisfying progression system where you build up your own town while upgrading both your ship and town buildings. And let’s not forget it’s a VR game. The graphics are genuinely impressive for VR. I bought it on Steam instead of directly through the Meta Quest store because it looks significantly better when played through Steam.

Après 2 heures de jeu, je pense pouvoir commencer à donner mon avis sur le jeu. Mais avant cela, quelques points importants à prendre en compte : -1 : Le jeu n’est pas une aventure coop ni un jeu PvP centré. Le gros du contenu reste une expérience solo, avec seulement quelques features coop qui se limitent à des combats bateaux contre bateaux contre l’IA, ou un mode attaque de port. L’autre feature est le PvP, qui consiste en des affrontements bateaux contre bateaux. Du coup, oui, cela risque de décevoir ceux qui, comme moi, s’attendaient à pouvoir vivre une aventure pirate entre amis. -2 : Du moins de mon côté, le jeu supporte mal Virtual Desktop, que ce soit en SteamVR ou en VDXR. L’image tremble légèrement en permanence. J’espère que cela sera corrigé rapidement. Bref Le jeu est avant tout une expérience solo où l’on doit développer son port, trouver des ressources, faire des quêtes, combattre des bateaux, visiter des lieux (à noter que je n’ai pas encore vu l’aspect « combat à l’épée » montré dans les trailers) et gérer ses navires. Graphiquement, le jeu est assez propre et clair. Mais Ce n’est pas non plus une orgie visuelle : par exemple, quand on prend une torche dans une grotte, ne vous attendez pas à une illumination réaliste des lieux avec des ombres qui dansent selon le feu de votre torche. (Après tout, le jeu ne demande qu’une GTX 1060 en configuration recommandée.) Cela dit, ce n’est pas moche pour autant. Dans l’ensemble, le jeu est plutôt beau, mais il n’y a pas d’effets qui vont pousser votre PC dans ses retranchements. On sent clairement qu’il s’agit d’un port Quest, avec sûrement de meilleures textures, plus de clarté et une meilleure fluidité sdans le casque. Les combats de bateaux sont plutôt sympas : vous dirigez votre équipage depuis la barre (en gros, vous les affectez aux canons bâbord ou tribord), vous levez la main pour ouvrir ou fermer les voiles (pas de réglage intermédiaire), et vous orientez l’inclinaison de vos canons avec le stick. Vous disposez comme munitions : des boulets classiques, des déchireurs de voiles, des bombes, de l’huile pour déclencher des incendies, et de la mitraille pour décimer l’équipage et forcer la reddition. Ne vous attendez donc pas non plus à un jeu ultra-réaliste, ultra-stratégique ou avec un gros micro-management. Pour le prix demandé (15,20 € en promo de lancement et 19 € au prix de base), je trouve le jeu dans l’ensemble sympa. Je demande à voir plus loin. Ce n’est certes pas le grand jeu de piraterie coop qu’on espérait en VR, mais c’est un jeu correct, avec pas mal d’aspects et d’activités. J’en suis encore tout au début de l’aventure, je ne me suis pas beaucoup éloigné de ma base d’origine, je m’attends Clairement à m’amuser un certain temps, cela reste un jeu de pirate VR à petit prix qui a des atouts. This Game is the best VR Pirate RPG Sim. Just buy it, when you like this type of Games. Dieses Spiel ist meiner Meinung nach die beste VR Piraten Rollenspiel Simulation auf dem Markt. Wenn Ihr diese Art von Spielen mögt solltet Ihr dieses Spiel unbedingt kaufen.
