For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is more of a "proof of concept" rather than an actual game. Every mechanic works fine, the game looks good, there seems to be a lot of things to do... However, every single mechanic is pointless. Farming and fishing only gives you items to restore energy, and gathering meat is way faster and easier. And even that is not nesessary! I had zero issues with it since quite early into the game. Potions are barely useful. You will spend more time searching for flowers, than you will save with potion buffs. Resources are useless as well. You only use them twice - on a farm and on a ship. Gathering them is pointless as well - just loot a bunch of chests and you're good to go. Exploring is somewhat fun, but the islands are just empty. Some of them have simple puzzles, others don't even have that. Also, there is a farming island, that it located on the other end of the map. Why? It is the only way to get some more farming seeds, but (unless you travel there spesifically) you reach it way too late into the game, making it useless. Even running the lighthouse is pointless. I spent some time waiting for everything to break, and nothing happened! You're free to do whatever you want, regardless on whether the lighthouse is working or not. I mean, the game's title is "Lighthouse Keeper", there should be consequences for not doing your job, right? This game could've been quite nice, but it's just a good-looking empty shell. It's sad, I can see myself spending quite a lot of time in this game, if there was at least some point in any of my actions.

The first half of the game was promising. The second half doesn't exist. If you enjoy being disappointed by a game suddenly ending after what feels like the early game phase and realizing you just wasted your time on pointlessly collecting resources, preparing potions and repairing your lighthouse - this is your game. Otherwise I'd suggest you play something else.
This game reminds me of Among Trees, a game which was a lot of fun but clearly ended development too early. Yes, it's a complete game, I had no bugs, but there were a lot of little things that could have been done to make this game standout more. Puzzles are used to 'repair' parts of the lighthouse. There are five puzzle types with varying degrees of difficulty within. None are that bad, but if they're hard for you -- no worries, the point of the game is to automate repairs, and you can choose the order. Just automate the challenging puzzles first, and the game will be quite casual beyond. The "Open World Survival Crafting" tag is a complete farce though. While you can technically roam freely, all the islands and quests are in linear order, so it is 'faux-open-world' at best. It's also not "Survival", as there's not even a health bar. I jumped off the lighthouse many times and took zero damage. Not sure there's damage anywhere in the game? Crafting exists, but outside of a few quests meant to act as a crafting tutorial there was no need to craft anything. All that said it was fun for a weekend, and it's an easy 100% achievement play through.
This could yet turn out to be a good game. But without some *serious* reformulation, I can't recommend it. I came in looking for a cozy lighthouse repair game. But the lighthouse is working from the beginning. It continually degrades. It devours oil at a rapid pace. Everything is timed, and the time-of-day display is unclear, both in the environmental cues and the GUI. Your ability to gather basic resources like stone and wood are sharply limited until you've obtained lava. It all adds up to a frustrating experience of perpetually fighting entropy, instead of the chill experience I wanted, quietly building up something I'm proud of. This is the kind of experience I have in real life, I don't need a game for that. Some things were nice. The graphics, the character controller, some of the UI felt good. Unfortunately, with the amount of time this game has been out, it seems unlikely that these things will be expanded upon, or that the problems will be addressed.
I finished the game in about 5 hours. Do with that as you will. ***Some Spoilers ahead*** At it's core, I'd have to say this is a puzzle-like game. It has crafting, survival, farming, etc, however all of those elements seem completely secondary to just pushing through the different quests to get to the end. In its current state, it feels like a demo that was turned into a full release game due to being abandoned. It's decent for what it is, however everything is so disjointed from one another that it has a problem with figuring out what it really should focus on. (btw, you can shoot the birds... that was fun lol). It's lacking polish of game testing, depth of many other survival/crafting games, and should be played knowing exactly what to expect going in: a subpar experience in everything, but you'll get a 100% achievable game in about 5 hours from it. I'm pretty sure I spent more time sailing back and forth from quest giver, to quest island, then back again, than I did with anything else in the entire game. Farming is pointless - no way to get seeds unless you aimlessly explore islands and stumble upon the one farm one. Upgrades are very few and, if like me, you spent time collecting resources because of its "survival-like" atmosphere in the first few hours, they can be upgraded all at once. a singular spot to cook, to trade, no inventory upgrades, etc, along with random chests everywhere. These are just to name a few things. I gave up on things after a few tries because it seemed pointless. Just follow the quests, continue doing that, and a few hours later you're done and have 100%'d the game. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't recommend this unless you can get it for 90% off normal price or something. It's not worth the $12-13+ it's asking for. I think I got this in a humble bundle myself, but I honestly don't remember. It's just been in my library for a while now and figured I'd check it out finally, lol.
Starts off with a chill vibe and some decent ideas, especially with collecting resources and exploring islands. Unfortunately, that novelty wears off fast and turns into a repetitive grind with little payoff. It’s also pretty buggy, which makes the experience even more frustrating. By the end, it just feels tedious and kind of pointless, like there’s no real reason to keep going.
It's fine. It's chill, short, simple and rough around the edges. It's dirt cheap on sales. There are no survival mechanics here, just some crafting/exploration/following the marker quests. I did however experience a probably game breaking bug where one of the 5 unique items you need to get did disappeared because I tried to pick it up with full inventory. I was able to fix it by editing the save game after picking up another one of the five. There are many smaller issues/nitpicks: * Can't actually see the active lighthouse light from afar when exploring islands. * White crosshair on white/snow island * No tooltips on items, so no way to know what they are * No chest auto stacking * Some mechanics don't really have a use (potion making) or little use (fishing, farming)
