The Park®

The park, um joguinho bem curto de terror (e um simulador de andar). Ambientado num parque de diversão abandonado em busca de seu filho, tem uma historia bem fácil de tender, com conquistas que podem ser conquistada na primeira gameplay, recomendo compra numa promoção quando tiver.

Nice little walking simulator with its second half being P.T. like. Creepy atmosphere and a few light jumpscares. Saw some graphic glitches here and there, but nothing major. Wish the game was longer and the park bigger, but it's still worth a grab on a discount.

The Park is a mildly decent horror game. I wouldn't call it an amazing game - so don't go into this expecting it to be the next big innovation in the horror genre or anything along those lines. But if you just want a short (2-3 hours), simple story where you wander a theme park at night, visiting each attraction and getting a bit of exposition with each one, then you can't go wrong with this one. The visuals are fine for what they are (again, nothing amazing) and the plot twist won't take you by surprise. The story is essentially that you're a mother searching for a lost child. But as you explore, you learn more of your character's past and it soon becomes apparent that not everything is as it seems. Cue a story about hard upbringings, mental health and deadly tragedy... again, these themes aren't exactly original and lots of other horror games and media have done them before. So again, don't expect anything outstandingly new here. First of all, you better play Secret World Legends (it's free now) and get to Savage Coast, where park is located to understand some of context. Before or right after playing The Park. Game doesn't hold your hand or say it straight of what is happening. Think of it as a tie-in. It's a really short (about 1,5-2h) experience in abandoned park. I wasn't interested much in it, but it is what it is. It was much more interesting to read paper messages or see, or read about, some characters and unravel to how they connected to SWL, anima, filth and all that stuff, than looking for this lost kid. Little bastard tricked me into going other direction so I circled around for a few minutes before realizing there's only one way to go. Recommend getting it on sale (along with Moons of Madness) if you are thirsty for more SWL stuff

One of the better walking sims since I like the environment. It's extremely short so get it on sale.

A short but atmospheric horror walking sim where you navigate an abandoned amusement park searching for your son. The voice acting was pretty good and the notes were interesting to read. Loses the plot a bit in the final third and the Stephen King / H.P. Lovecraft references (while I appreciated them) got a bit much after a while, but overall this is worth your time. Finished in 1.5h 7/10 Stars

The Park je hra asi na 2 hodiny. Za mě je to typ hry, kterou si zahraju jednou a pak už se k ní dlouho nevrátím. Příběh je pěkný, i když mi přišel místy trochu chaotický, ale pořád dobrý. Byly tam chvíle, které jsem si opravdu užila, ale ke konci už mi to přišlo trochu natahované. Chápu, že to asi bylo kvůli délce hry. Nedala bych tomu 10/10, spíš tak 7/10. Hra mě bavila, ale vím, že si ji znovu nezahraju :D
