About
The Outer Worlds 2 is the eagerly-awaited sequel to the award-winning first-person sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment (just look at the exciting number of dashes in this sentence!). Time to clear your calendar – get ready for an action-packed adventure with a new crew, new weapons, and new enemies in a new colony! So much newness!
As a daring and most likely good-looking Earth Directorate agent, you must uncover the source of devastating rifts threatening to destroy all of humanity. Your investigation leads to Arcadia, home of skip drive technology, where the fate of the colony, and ultimately the entire galaxy, rests on your decisions—your strengths, your flaws, your crew, and the factions you choose to trust.
The Arcadia colony is engulfed in a factional war, as the Protectorate’s so-called benevolent rule is challenged by the rebellion of their religious order and a corporate invasion. As destructive rifts spread across the colony, each faction fights to control or close them for their own ends. Navigate diverse zones, uncover hidden lore, and shape the fate of a system on the brink!
Build your character with the abilities and choices that reflect your playstyle. The colony reacts to your every move, crafting a narrative that’s yours to own—whether you’re a disciple of diplomacy, an astute strategist, a crusader for chaos, or something different altogether. And yes, you can dumb!
Recruit companions with unique traits, backgrounds and goals. Whether you choose to help them achieve their ambitions or steer them toward your own objectives, your influence shapes their growth (or death), making them an integral part of the immersive story you create together.

Reviews
This is a great 7/10 game, you will get about 50 hours playtime out of it! Eye candy with a consistent humor and depth. Goes without saying it's a little expensive - I got it half off on sale, and feel I got my money's worth.
I was hesitant after not loving the first game, but I've really enjoyed this one.
Only the first map get outer world one experience, for others, if you feel boring, then it will just continue until the end. Trust me. Give it a thumb down, as I like Obsidiant and hope it can be better

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

both the outer worlds games are great but this one has a slight edge for me playing at 4k looks really goos and i love being an earth directorite its a pretty cool angle. There is really no need to play the first game to enjoy this one. Completely different story lines
This is definitely one of THE games. 10/10 will do a second and third playthrough and test different builds.
TLDR; Its mostly more of "Outer Worlds" but everything is slightly better. Pros: * The core experience is good - there are interesting factions and interesting characters to meet. You will get to make many choices that will effect interesting outcomes. There are also multiple viable and fun ways to approach things. * Quests are mostly interesting and I found myself wanting to know whats gonna happen next. * Dialogs are funny and interesting. * I found shooting quite satisfying, its nothing that will blow you away but its solid and good. * Level design and general atmosphere is quite good Cons: * The visuals can feel kind of bland sometimes, I would'nt say its bad - there is variety and such but sometimes it does feel a bit "cookie cutter". * Enemy AI - Again, its not terrible but its not good either. They mostly sit where they are and at most duck for cover. I wish they would try and circle around you and sneak up from behind, use the map to their advantage somehow but nawh none of that. * I wish there was a better roster of weapons, I did'nt find any of them all that interesting. * No real puzzles - its just go to this place to activate that thing to then be able to activate the next thing. I wish there was something bit more substantial. While there are surely things that could be better I'm still super happy with this game and would recommend it to anyone who likes a good RPG. This is one of the better ones out there today, well worth both your time and money
