It was SO GOOD

THEY'VE DONE IT AGAIN! I've been waiting with bated breath ever since this game first got announced. I already knew the animation, voice acting, music, and writing would be fabulous just like it was in Tangle Tower. But the devs went and pushed the envelope in ways I wasn't even expecting. All the 3D modeling is DELICIOUS to look at and also manages to harmonize with the other art styles present in the game. Plus I adore the added challenge and interactivity it provides to the clues. And the overall storytelling is PHENOMENAL. For all of its quirkiness and fantastical set pieces, this series is surprisingly grounded when you get right down to it. If you scratch even one layer below the surface, it can actually be quite heartbreaking--and this entry is no exception. Thank you SFB devs for sharing your beautiful art with the world!

I had added The Mermaid Mask immediately after finishing Tangle Tower and it delivered on all accounts. It was worth every penny that I paid for it and while it doesn't take super long to complete, the writing, art, and sound design make it such an incredible experience. I hope the studio adds another mystery to the series, although seeing some of the fourth wall breaks near the end, I am a bit concerned about the team and hope they are doing ok. Whether they do or don't make another, both the Mermaid Mask and Tangle Tower are well worth diving into.

一直很喜欢Sally的deadpan humour，这系列的女性角色每个人都有很强的个性和优秀的刻画，这作的案件总结也蛮动人，结局的那一幕颇为震撼。故事结束得很完整，一切的不幸都是为了一个执念，但逝去之人留在世上的痕迹不是物质而是善待过的活生生的人。游戏中段和角色后日谈里都有Tangle Tower里Poppy和Fifi的小彩蛋，惊喜。 但问题也在于推理部分相较于前作依然没有进步，解谜大于推理，没有太多强逻辑，基本依靠穷举法来举证，很多零散无关的证据全点一遍听完所有对话还是挺累挺耗费耐心的，除了特别喜欢的角色，经常听着听着就神游天外了。然而实在太喜欢Sally，出续作还是会继续买单的。

Me encanto, una trama increible y unos personajes muy vivos. me encanto que las pistas hacia el culpable sean logicas pero sin ser obvias. la verdad lo disfrute mucho y los puzzles son muy divertidos. ojala y esten pensando en sacar otra entrega

It's another amazing entry in a great series, the mystery kept me invested throughout. The best parts are the story, the character design, and [i]the music[/i]. The clues really fit together, it felt like any question I had or irregularity I noticed was eventually exposed and answered. It also tied into the previous games, especially Tangle Tower, in exciting and rewarding ways. Sometimes you figure something out way before you're allowed to ask a character about it properly, but that's a common occurrence in a lot of mystery games. The only times I got stuck were when I missed 1-2 clues in the background, and on the one puzzle that I felt wasn't explained/implemented well ([spoiler]the pinboard near Moon's tent[/spoiler]). The characters were a lot of fun to interact with, the ending was amazing, and the mystery was very well-constructed. I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone, in my opinion it's well worth the full price!!
