Just had my human perspective permanently and irrevocably shifted but hey what's new
Spectacular, everything I wanted from another game set in the same universe as Tangle Tower. Maybe I would have liked a more connected world calling back to the previous game, but that's just a preference I have for always wanting to know more about characters I've grown to love. All the new characters were as fun to learn about, or even more so, than the Fellow's and Pointer's we got to know in TT. My personal favourite was Symmetry, a young illusionist who speaks in poetic phrases. The ending was stronger than TT's, but I also quite enjoyed TT's while I know a lot of people thought that was a weak point to an otherwise fantastic game. I felt, at the very least, that Mermaid Masks felt a little more organic in how it capped off the story being told and gave a more satisfying conclusion. The game is fully voice acted, and you can get all characters to comment on every piece of evidence no matter how small. I'd recommend it for anyone who enjoys solving mystery's, visual novels where you get to know a group of people, or even just people who like looking at pretty nice art.

Stellar voice acting, beautiful art and animation, and a gripping story
The perfect cap on this amazing trilogy. The wait was worth it
I've been waiting YEARRSSSS for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and I am SO GLAD to finally have it.. THEY HAVE TRULY OUTDONE THEMSELVES WITH THIS.. tho I'm only 40% / 8 hours in.. the story? the characters?? ITS SO GOOD ALREADY. ITS SO GOOD. I do love that they're adding more creepy stuff into these games tho!I wish more detective games did that!
This game was so good that I didn’t feel like playing any other games for an entire week. The Detective Grimoire games have all greatly improved with each addition but this one is by far their greatest work yet. The gameplay is fun and the puzzles are challenging but not enough to require a walkthrough. Just enough to give you that “eureka” moment when you figure it out! Also worked perfectly on the steam deck. The art is beautiful. The characters and locations are so detailed and unique but also still feel cohesive to the story. Speaking of the story, it was wonderful. It finds time to be mysterious and even haunting while still keeping some humor and lightheartedness. The story and its ending stayed with me for the rest of the day after I finished it. I cannot wait to see what these devs do next!
Truly a game like no other- the artwork, game design, voice acting and not to mention the amazingly well-thought out stoyline- My sister and I savoured everything we could about this game and it was easily one of the best games we've played all year. The team did fantastic work and the extras with the art gallery at the end make it feel like there is still more to explore about the world! The characters were so stunning as well and we definitely have a few favourites! Thank you for all the hard work and love that went in to this!
I can't wait to re-play it and note down all the clues within clues the developers left. Incredibly polished game. Best in the series. If you're looking for a visual novel detective story, this is up there with Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton.
10/10 game, one of the best indie games ive ever played
답답하거나 너무막힐 때마다 친절한 가이드가 있어 매우 친절한 추리게임입니다 짧고 아쉽다고 느껴질 정도로 좋았어요 후속작이 더 많이 빨리 나오면 좋겠네요
