很棒的推理游戏！比前作《缠结塔》更好玩，整个故事的逻辑和完整性好像也优秀得多。关键还有好听的全语音、夯爆的美术、引人入胜的音乐、上大分的本地化、无处不在的细节、各种主角的小幽默，整个游戏流程非常令人享受。谜题方面比较简单，推理部分的提示做得也不错，实在不行直接穷举也没有什么惩罚（甚至有一些意料之外的语音之类的）。强烈推荐给侦探游戏爱好玩家。 就是希望能给手柄操作再优化一下，倒是能理解鼠标模式很多情况下还得用，但是至少可以给固定按钮分配一些按键之类的。 9.5/10

제발 플레이해줘요... 제발 사서 플레이 해주세요.... 죽기 전에 3편을 보고 죽어야겠어요..... 일부러 스포 안 보고 플레이 했는데 정말 재밌었습니다. 개인적으로 탱글타워도 재밌게 했었는데 머메이드 마스크 오래 기다린 보람이 있어요 정말.

I wanted to write a whole essay of a review, but I had to stop myself. This is downright one of the best written and best made adventure games of the last decade. I am not kidding. The characters are amazing, the writing is absolutely top notch, with a level of depth and content I have rarely seen before. The whole game is constantly intriguing without being filled with pointless red herrings or false leads. I've played the previous two games in the series as well, and each one has been better than the last. Huge congratulations to the dev team!

Fantastic art and voice acting, compelling mystery with multiple intertwined storylines. You can tell that this game is an act of love by the quality in every bit of it. Lovely making of art so you can see the process as well. Highly recommend

I finally bought the game because I like it after playing two Detective Grimoire games. This one is special and I played it longer than two games combined. The puzzle here are trickier, it has bit of 3D gameplays, and the murder and trick are well detailed than before. Like Tangle Tower the graphics is similar which is great and the story is absolute cinema. I love the Detective Grimoire series right now especially the adventures of Detective Grimoire and his wonderful sidekick Sally Spears once again. I even buy it at full price because I'm impressed with the first two games of Detective Grimoire so in the end it was really fun I daresay.

It was a long wait, but the game was worth it. I played the previous installments with my 10yo kid and he insisted on putting The Mermaid Mask on the wishlist. So we did, and regularly checked on the release date. At last we had a free weekend together, and cracked the game (3 achievements missing...) in 16 hours. The story was really great, everything logically connected, every character with unique quirks and traits. There was a stage where we had to ask everyone about everything, because sometimes the comments pushing the story forward were a bit unexpected. But once all clues were unlocked, in the endgame, all started to fall into place in the most satisfying and logical way, leaving no loose ends. Really wholesome and touching experience, for something disguised as a "detective game". My kid already asks about the next part!
