I started following SFB games since the release of Crow Country and got on my PlayStation back in 2024. Earlier this year, I finally decided to checked out the Detective Grimoire series. Each Grimoire game improved with Tangle Tower being the most recent and best out the series until this one came out. I kid you not, this is flat out my favorite game not only out of the Detective Grimoire series, but in my opinion, the best game SFB games have released. The story for this one hits, the puzzles were really fun and creative, the cast were so much interesting this time around that it help make the plot more interesting. The new 3d chibi for some scenes looked great and when the story ended, I was left stunned at how much this exceeded my expectations. Fantastic OST, great usage of 2d artwork and 3d models, perfect atmosphere and sets for each area and room. I hope the series continues as I feel like the story isn't done just yet and there is still more to tell, especially since this game really ties the last two grimoire games into this one. Maybe the return of some familiar faces, who knows. For now, this game feels like a great ending point. Till next time Grimoire and Sally.

The writing's great. The music's a bop. I was engrossed the whole time. The game doesn't insult your intelligence. I highly recommend this game if you love detective games or logic puzzles.
