Reviews
I don't have a lot of playtime yet, but it is 100% a game worth trying if you like survival games. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: Exploration: I find it enjoyable that there are quests, but you don't really need to follow them. You might end up at locations on your own terms. That happens to me a lot of times; I just accidentally wander to waypoints without even trying. Combat: I enjoy the simple combat. It's not too complicated and pretty chill to play. World: The places I have explored so far have been amazing. It makes me miss a lot of the old Lord of the Rings games, like LotR: War in the North, The Two Towers, The Return of the King, and The Third Age. Cons: Polish: The game feels a little bit clunky at times, but I don't think it's a major flaw. Difficulty: I feel like the difficulty should adjust to solo play if the game notices you are playing alone. I played on normal difficulty, and some of the encounters were pretty difficult for a solo player. Tutorials: The game could explain certain mechanics better, like how to get food that restores health. It would be more fun if the game told you how to do this rather than having to search online for the answers.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

My 2 brother's and I just started playing this and it seems like a really good time! It's pretty simple to figure out how the game works and the scenery is great! Especially for hardcore Dwarf fans!
Definitely loved the game. It takes reading and thorough work to strategize thru it. I'm lucky to have my hubbie play with me because he does opposite work than me and together we make a great team. He's afraid of nothing. I'm afraid of lots - but with him...I'm loving all battles and in there with him! We made a great base, huge! Very pretty, and very comfortable with gardens, and all smithing and work out in the courtyards. Foods prepared and stored inside the house. Sleeping and eating, or hanging out for a moment with a mug and dancing. Then onto battles. Have your armor and weapons UP TO DATE and keep beating the ....out of all who oppose. Work but fun. We are getting ready to get the next part of the game. There are bad reviews. Sad. I hope we will find out spot in it :) I'd advise someone to play with you and do a lot of laughing and enjoy.
Trash game
I'd like to update this review if I may. I have reconsidered my original post. After careful thought, I decided to give the game another try. My original post was delivered in an extremely frustrated state as I could not retrieve my belongings from the surrounding orcs who were camping me and had just raided my hard earned abode and destroyed about half the items (furnace, repair bot, meal table, I had farmed the ingredients for (for days), and stole some of my hard fought for possessions. I have given this game a second chance and am willing to concede and give it another chance. I am a solo player as my time is limited for this entertainment and I have become aware through the community that playing solo has it's own disadvantages. I had to learn to be smarter than the orcs and goblins and bears and spiders to avoid getting killed by them. (I have been gaming since 2002 both MMORPG and stand alone games, so I realize that you will die..repeatedly...) I accept this. I am very fond of the LOTR lore. Although this game has a few things that are very annoying and are difficult for a single player to overcome, I have learned that I can overcome those issues. I am beginning to enjoy the game so I retract my original post. I will give it a thumbs up and will continue to play and have also purchased Sand and Stone and look forward to playing that as well. Thank you LOTR for making a game for people like me to be challenged and frustrated, and satisfied when I am successful. Carry on.... This game is the most frustrating game I have EVER played and I've played a lot...First, if you die, your corpse always spawns at your latest bedroll site no matter how far you have wandered to find your needed items. Secondly, the Orcs actually CAMP your corpse making it almost impossible to retrieve your body. Thirdly, you have to use build workbenches, repair stations, hearth campfires, and practically everything else just to be able to explore an area. There are so many Orcs and Goblins patrolling it's impossible to stay hidden for very long. You can't loot much when your dead, which brings me to my last point. If you're dead and trying to get back to your corpse, HOW IS IT that you can be killed over and over and over when you're already dead and have to run back again and again and again. Nobody alive has time for that crap and if they do, they should probably get a jot. I'm out...hate it.
просто гномы прикольные)
Not great, not terrible. Just meh. Everything feels half done; no real sense of progression after the first hour or so as there is very little to craft. The environment is pretty to look at from a distance, but feels lifeless and tedious to explore. Combat is really simple and boring. No, there is nothing around that corner, probably not even some ore you don't really need.
peak. but i wish there was more to do.. the grind gets repetitive and i wish there was simpler exploration
The tower of dwarves and the songs were the instant win for me.
I bought this game on sale, after having read a lot of mixed reviews about it. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about whether I would like it, or would get dissapointed. But to my surprise, I ended up enjoying this game a lot. The game itself is a very basic survival craft game, like Minecraft, 7DaysToDie or the like - same formula. Where it shines is in the theme department. You get to experience the rich dwarven history of the LOTR. You also get to see places that the fellowship visited during their trip in the films - which is a nice little bonus in my opinion. But lets address the elephant in the room. A lot of other players complain about the "I need a better weapon for this" comment that your dwarf says when you venture into an area that is progressing you further in the game. What I found out is that you just have to sneak around and grab blueprints for the next weapon technology before you start hacking and slashing away at your enemies in that zone. I find this challenging and fun, but I get that it's a matter of taste/preference. Then there is the complaints about the NPC dwarves from the DLC (Durins Folk). Just don't place the NPC's in your main base, but create a seperate camp/base(s) for them entirely - problem solved. Now that we have addressed those most popular complaints, let's focus on all the great details in this game. The devs really listened to the playerbase in this development and tried their best to deliver, and that is evident once you start sinking time into this masterpiece. You get singing, drinking, dancing dwarves which really helps portray the happy folk that never breaks, no matter the hardship they are put through. All while the game looks and feels great to play. Not to mention that they even had John Rhys-Davies (Gimli) tell the story and be a part of the game! In short: If you are a fan of LOTR, you are gonna love this!
