A bit slow but well worth it!

This isn't a game. It's an experience, wrapped in a black box with a black ribbon. A Tamagotchi on your computer screen. Except Shadow doesn't need to eat, drink, or sleep... He simply exists. You can launch the game and then forget all about him (you heartless monster!). But Shadow feels, thinks, experiences... and waits. Maybe for his birthday, which he'll spend alone as well, serving an old geezer the world and time itself have long forgotten. "It'll be dark soon"? Underground, it's always dark. It's up to you whether this small, helpless, incredibly sensitive little creature ever gets to see the sun even once.

You are literally playing THE LONG(ing) game as you wait for this wonderful artpiece. I think because of the slow pace it is art in itself and I love that the developers seemed to really cherish that this game comes with it's own pace. So brace yourself for a LONG one but a very cool, mysterious but ultimately nice journey in THE LONGING!

Чудесная, бесподобная игра, которой нет подобий! Я получил все достижения, немного покопался с активностями и не стал мучаться, чтобы задавать все вопросы, собирать золото и так далее, но мне хватило того, что есть. Немного грустно из-за того, что по сути есть только ожидания на несколько дней, неделю, пару недель и месяц, только одна штучка есть на ожидание в год, но более ничего. С другой стороны хватает и того, что есть. И как же мне повезло попасть в тайминг хорошей концовки... боги рандома прям соблаговолили, но и я терпел. Рекомендую, даже нетерпеливый я получил удовольствие и осилил это ожидание

an absolute jem of a game if you happen to find it. It is well worth the purchase. Whether you play consistently or every once in a while the longing and the shade will calm you and allow you to appreciate the passing of time
