EDIT: People who """ enjoy """ this game solely upvote the "positive" reviews and completely bomb any negative. Cult-like following, this game isn't as good as it is displayed on the store. I had this in my wishlist for a while, as someone new to the developer's games. I thought the concept was interesting, but based on the reviews, the game appeared "short" and not worth the full price, especially so with the rumours that there are paid reviews. The game is honestly... In nicer terms, meh. An ok take on "racism" if it were in the form of a zombie aftermath. Pretty similar to the movie "The Cured" to some regard, but doesn't tick all the boxes that The Cured does. I really don't think that it is worth the full price that it is. It's more annoying that most of the positive reviews have little playtime. I honestly found the dialogue to feel far too forced, and instead of trying to appear as a slowburn kinda diagloue/game, it just felt... lackluster. Albeit, I did not finish the game, but I feel as though any further wouldn't be the best experience for me. I didn't really want to feel locked into having to keep this game. There were definitely parts that were funny, like "He" the naked dude, but I just think this game has a very forced conception of handling it's own form of "racism" Maybe it gets better, maybe it doesn't, the only thing that was consistently good throughout this story was the soundtrack. Definitely the best part without a doubt, and you get that for free upon purchase.
Don't buy this game. It feels is poorly made, voice acting doesn't have subtitles and the game is buggy. Another user found this out but the developer is paying people to leave positive reviews. https://imgur.com/a/kv1xgWk Game needs to be removed from steam.
Yeah the game wasn't that great. the subtitles didn't even work for me. It makes sense the devs paid people to write good reviews cause some of them are way too exaggerated for a game as short as this. I also wasn't able to play some of the scenes in the trailer. There aren't a lot of places where you could even choose what to say so I wonder if those missing scenes just aren't in the game.
I'm a translator for the Korean language. So I'll give this a review based on two perspectives As a gamer: It's a niche game. It happened to be something I like. I found Euphoric Brothers through Introvert: A Teenager Simulator, which was surprisingly fun. In the game one of the Devs Faris left a hidden message to troubled teens: "This is my twitter. If you need someone to talk to, contact me any time" and I was touched deeply by that. I loved Introvert. I could see that in Human Apocalypse it kept the same jokes and style, the wacko humor and gameplay, except with my favorite theme - zombies. I'm a horror player and like 'lite horror themes' like this. Maybe I'm biased because the game is from Euphoric Brothers. I also trust any games from Supermassive Games or Annapurna Interactive blindly. I don't think that's a bad thing, to be a fan of a certain game company. As an insider: Unfortunately I knew everything that goes on in the game before I even started it, being the translator. That took the fun out a little but I hadn't heard the voice lines or seen the visuals. It's an improvement from Introvert for sure. I am proud that Korean youtubers are enjoying the game and posting positive videos. The devs were struggling to pay for crucial services, let alone their translators, and I did this as a volunteer work, and gladly. I got the title (1 copy) for free which I gave to another struggling gamer and knew I was going to love this game too, so I bought this with my own money. Euphoric Brothers had not given me any offer for another key though I talked about buying the game multiple times, and that's perfectly fine. I was happy to buy it at full price although I could see why people thought it wasn't worth the money. Disclaimer: I'm reviewing this game because I want to tackle the 300 games I haven't left a review for yet, most of which I have bought but not played. I'm lazy. During my 2 years working with Euphoric Brothers, I have never even seen a hint of request for a review or youtube video, in any of the insider channels. I write this review objectively based on my experiences. Conclusion: If you like heartfelt messages about social issues, Faris is the person to go to. It's a slow burning game. Try the demo or try Introvert first to see if you'd like this game. And not only for Euphoric Brothers, if you like what you played, support indie devs because they don't get enough exposure. I translate for any indie dev under 5 persons in team size, for free, as a means of trying to contribute toward good, creative games that are NOT there solely to suck your money.

As far as i've played the game is good! I like how the voice acting is made and the story is good. The fact that the story is multichoice
(exemple: in the beginning you can choose to have a town tour from your roommate).
I plan on getting the multiple endings and playing it as good and worst as i can possibly do. Overall a promising game and it is definitly worth the money. I hope you guys will buy it.
The game is full of bugs and looks unpolished, clearly not playtested enough or at all. Most of your time is spent pressing and holding a/d to get from home to work to home. The events are slow-paced and boring. The "ending" I got didn't feel like one and looked like the game abruptly finished. There are some good ideas but they are wasted and terribly executed in my opinion. Plus there are comments stating the game's devs paid money for positive reviews. Looking at the positive review percentage, I'm inclined to agree.
