Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A great 6th entry to the series. Was a blast seeing the events unfold in parallel in Erebonia, compared to what is seen in the last game (Azure) on the Crossbell side. Would still recommend playing this as the 6th entry as opposed to starting from this point...

This game is a great entry to the franchise that serves as a well-deserved breath of fresh air. The controls and general handling on the overworld is bothersome, but aside from that, I feel the new engine is great. The battles are very fun and relatively more interesting than the predecessors. The orbment changes are weird and I don't know how to feel about them, starting almost from scratch is cool in the first half of the game but after that it loses the appeal. This game prioritizes strength (laura) over all else and I think it makes the balancing very lopsided, I don't really like it. A lot of this game is repetitive, and the story struggles the most from this. It doesn't have any crazy big story reveals because it is a "prequel" to the preceding game, and that leaves the game feeling awkward with relation to its place in the story. The extra perspective towards the Crossbell incident is really interesting, especially coupled with the Empire's propaganda towards reporting it. The structure of the game is nice and makes it a lot easier to binge, the sidequests being in smaller demand is great, too. I don't care for any of the characters yet but I like Fie and Towa. Rean so far is a bit of a better Lloyd, but I still don't care for him much lol. Each character gets a little arc and it works for them. This game was better than Azure maybe, I hope CS2 is good!
If you are looking for a new series, I feel this one has flown under the radar as other bigger series have kinda dropped the ball on decent combat and character interaction.
Oops didn't realize i forgot to write a review of this game. Compared to the previous trails games this one is............................ Alright. it has the plot pacing of sky fc without the characters being as endearing or well written so it's a bit of a slog at times Music is pretty good sometimes thou
在莱诺花开的季节,重新登上前往托利斯塔的列车!
The only JRPG I had played before this was Persona 4 Golden and I thought that was the peak of storytelling and character development. Trails blew my mind on just how intricate the story is and how you form these close bonds with each character. Every character felt so full and believable and each opportunity to see more about where they came from was amazing. Towards the end, the social links contributed more to the battles as well, even though the last dungeon was a bit of a grind. Overall, this is 10/10 and if all the trails games are anything like this, I'm motivated to start at the beginning with Sky FC and then continue with the others. That is going to take years (lol), but totally worth it. I also want to mention how this game is perfect for short 30 minute stints (as long as you don't leave it when you're grinding in the middle of a dungeon) and the pacing is actually great if you like to savor the story slowly and watch it unfold. And the ending, wow. Excellent game.
