Picking up shortly after The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, Estelle travels across Liberl in search of Joshua. The journey involves more than seeking loved ones, however, as the Bracer Guild also tasks her with unraveling the mysteries behind the newly unveiled Society of Ouroboros.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
"One step at a time! We'll walk it together to the end!"**
There's something very personal and utterly endearing about Estelle as a protagonist that you just cannot get in any other game, and any kind of organic storytelling such as Falcom's Trails. Estelle is, without a doubt, my top 2 female protagonist in gaming (t1 being Terra Branford). Trails in the Sky SC is an experience to forever remember. Never witnessed a jprg this complete and intricate in its world along with its heavily inter-connected dialogue where every line just adds an organic flavor no other jrpg can. The sequel really enhances almost everything FC had built upon, from the Orbment system upgrades, to gratifying character arcs, to one of the most insane story & world-building heights in gaming. The cast we grew with in FC were tested to their limits in SC, bringing eureka moments for the cast with each of their own transformative arcs. SC delivers a most satisfying ending to a fully flourished region of the Liberl Kingdom, and oh boy, I can't wait to see the cutscene fights of SC in the remake Second Chapter. Thank you Nihon Falcom. FC introduced me to the Trails series. SC made solidified this as MY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FRANCHISE. P.S. Can we just take a moment to acknowledge and thank the Trails series, the only franchise to have Olivier Lenheim? Olivier is legitmately the most unique, well-thoughtout, masterfully written and entertaining jrpg character ever. Every scene of him is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece. literally a classic
This is my second playthrough. Ironically, I am afraid to continue playing it and watch how the story unfolds;
especially the reunion scene.
Trails has always been my favorite JRPG (with Suikoden), yet this 2nd Sasuke triggered me in some way because I used to know someone with the similar vibe irl. It was absurd of me to stop my progress just because I can relate to Estelle's
naivety & hopefulness toward a certain edgy-tragic-miserable-foolish boy who is an ultra avoidant and feels very undeserving much hahaha xD Do all men have obsession of tragic-unworthy-complex-wounded-lonely villain mindset like this? I understand that Joshua's trauma came back even tho he was basically healed by Estelle. But flipping up the switch without even thinking of her consent is brutally selfish thing to do, bruh.. She was perfectly fine before, then she has to suffered in confusion while reclaiming her identity. Even everyone in the team got confused looking for this Sasuke. Oh well, at least this is just a plot of a game and everything ends nicely. Joshua gets his redemption arc while Estelle gets the ending she deserves, atta girl~
The OSTs and the battle system got updated... The story and the NPCs legacies carried on... and.. yeah.. there is no reason for you to stop playing after witnessing the FC ending eh? Don't let the poor maiden's tears got left hanging alone and confused xD
what is there to say that hasnt already been said, this is truly one of if not the best JRPGS ive ever played.
Вторая часть арки показалась немного затянутой, время прохождения игры и обилие бесполезных с точки зрения сюжета босс файтов душило. Но в остальном это отличный сиквел, лор и сюжет проработан отлично, всем советую.
The second installment takes everything the first game setup and improves upon it. I really enjoyed the plot and characters. They’ve done a great job creating a large cast of characters while keeping them all interesting and fun. I can see why this game is regarded as among one of the best JRPG’s stories around.
